48 Hours And No Answer - Forum Comparison
I participate in forum about homebrew and posted a question a couple days ago, that I needed an urgent answer to. Unfortunately, 45 people thought it was interesting enough to look at, but not enough to offer some help!
It's not a big deal, and I'll figure it out myself, but that's way different from how things go down in WA!
I had an equally tough question to ask the members of WA, and here's the response that I got:
In 2 seconds, someone said, "hello" to me.
In 2 minutes, someone had an answer, although it wasn't the one I wanted. We then discussed the problem in chat for about 5-10 minutes thinking of possible solutions.
I then asked a question in the Search Engine Optimization classroom. Now, considering I asked this question on a Sunday night, the night that Game of Thrones Season 5 is starting, I didn't expect much activity on the question. I wrote the question, then started doing some work on my website.
By the next morning, I had 4 responses with 2 possible solutions.
To be completely fair, they were not the "YES" or "NO" answer I was looking for, and I'll probably need to follow up with someone in chat tonight. But I have a couple ideas of who might know, and at least I know that I'm alive and people care about helping me find a solution.
I can guarantee that if the question was easier, I would have gotten multiple answers within minutes.
Wealthy Affiliate is quite a unique forum, and worth every penny, whether you are a complete newbie or a full time business owner!
UPDATE:
Although I didn't get the easy answer I wanted I ended up following the suggestions of some of the commenters on the thread. Someone also offered to actually take a look at it for me - imagine that, 1-on-1 help from an expert!

Wow - he sounds like a real professional! Kyle and Carson do a great job of keeping the vibe in the community helpful and family friendly.
The best thing "I Love" in this community is that even experienced marketers like Nathaniell ask for help and then begins a productive dialogue and eventually the solution is a solution for a way more people.
Did you check inside WordPress forums for the problem you have?
I've seen a lot of technical threads answered by program developers
