April 2020 Stats Update!

Here are the results for April 2020. They seem to definitely be getting better.

I managed to generate:

2 starter WA referrals
1 monthly recurring subscription payment for WA.
3 additional referral into various affiliate programs

My site took a hit at the tail-end of January due to a Google update, and was pretty much sand-box throughout February. However my site has since bounced back and is now reading more search traffic than it ever has before.

My YouTube channel is also growing very rapidly. Since I basically just duplicate my blog post articles over to YouTube it is also very easy to manage my YouTube channel.

One of my exit-intent plugins I am using on my site is no longer working, so I am unable to drive as many affiliate link clicks as I was before. Some people are saying that certain types of javascript are being blocked by Chrome browsers or it could be my Wordpress theme. It is a bummer but not catastropic that it isn't working. It could start working again in the future. We'll see.

Another Product Launched

I managed to finish the second digital product at the end of April and it is currently still being reviewed prior to being published. It is taking a little bit longer to review right now because of COVID-19. This one I will be publishing to Udemy.

The nice thing about Udemy is that you have a high quality platform to host your courses. Plus you get to be featured in Udemy retargeting ad networks. So it is a very good platform to get exposure and build authority in your niche.

I still have two more products that I have been brainstorming. I want to see how this current product launch goes, and depending on the feedback I get I may start creating my next product.

But for the time being, I am going to pivot my efforts back into creating content. A lot of competing websites have been dropping off the SERPs because of the pandemic, so this is a fantastic time to create content and lock in your spot on Page 1.

Focusing On List Building Soon

Now that I have a practiced with a couple of product launches, I am planning to add list-building to my current strategy. I haven't done list-building in a long time, but I have been priming myself with some courses available in the My Unfair Advantage membership.

My Wife Started A Travel Tips Blog

My wife finally decided to focus on building an affiliate blog in the travel niche. So in addition to all the content that is being put into my business. She has been working hard as well.

She found a solid product that she wants to focus on promoting. Together we compiled a list of 120 keywords that she can target, and now she is putting her efforts into dominating the niche.

I am confident that she will do really well, because I personally probed the niche myself last year and found it to be very easy to rank and get traffic for.

I am still assisting her with publishing the blog posts at the moment. She hasn't quite figured out how to do on-page optimization yet.
