2 Free Microsoft Excel SEO Templates
Microsoft Excel has a lot of features that bloggers can use for tracking and analyzing keyword data.
Every now and then, I come up with a new idea for Microsoft Excel that can help track my keywords and find new ones.
The very first excel template that I created was a keyword permutation generator for seo agencies to generate keyword ideas. It was pretty basic, but I posted in a Facebook Group full of agency owners and it got a lot of interest.
So I thought I would post a couple more templates in the WA community that can help the bloggers track and analyze data in excel.
The first keyword template that I have for you today is a rank tracker. You simply need to add your root domain, the keyword you wish to track, and type Control+Shift+U to refresh. It then searches the SERPs to find the url and imports the rank into the spreadsheet. It also ads your rankings into a chart.
The next SEO tool that I have for you was actually developed by my brother. He has his own SEO agency in Cincinnati, OH and he developed the tool to replace a commonly used, yet discontinued SEO tool called Ilovepage1.
The tools scrapes the Google Serps and does a compeition analysis. This is important, because you need to know the number of competitors in the search result, and the strength of the competition as well.

I had a look at the Rank Checker on my Mac and unfortunately the VB Macro crashes out with an error. That was with the www.webmasterworld.com data
When it says overflow, it means that it cannot find the url in the search results.
The url was the one saved into and included in the template.
