Not sure if this is the right spot for my question, but please don't shoot me if it isn't I am still finding my way around. I need help making sure that I come out of the gate

"Branding" yourself is what I believe is really taught here at WA. It is to put yourself in the position of the "authority" or "expert" not any one of our products or niches that we are in, but that we are the person to go to for the niche. So yes, you can do that here and with the training is exactly what you WILL be doing.

I think I was getting a little ahead of myself :) as I am going thru the lessons everything is coming together very nice. I am very impressed with all that I been learning and how easy it actually is to put most of it into action. I think WA is just were I need to be :)

Glad to hear it!

Hey Natalie,

I think there are three main issues why you find the Membership here "frowning" (!) at even the mere mention of the acronym MLM.

Firstly, there's nothing wrong with legitimate MLMs, the cosmetics company Avon is a shining example of an honest, genuine, worthwhile MLM. However, scams such as Empower Network, Rippln et al misuse the term to disguise that they are in fact pyramid, Ponzi or matrix schemes. You find there's no way of earning with these supposed MLMs except to create a downline of victims who have nothing to do but promote the same wretched scam themselves.

Secondly, many people in an MLM often try to promote it to the community here. There is no promotion or self-promotion whatsoever permitted at WA, so Members look askance at those saying they're in an MLM, just waiting for them to start promoting it to all and sundry either publicly or behind the scenes via PM, as they've seen this happen before.

Thirdly, if you're in an MLM you're not founding your own business, you're just an unpaid employee of whatever scheme you're in. It's not your business, it's theirs, and if it closes tomorrow, all your hard work goes down the drain. For many Members, "independence" is a key part of what they're seeking here, not having to rely on the good graces of one company that can boot you out tomorrow if the whim takes them. For many Members, that makes an MLM almost the same risk as being in a "job".

That said, you've been completely honest and upfront about what you're trying to achieve with the training at WA, and if a genuine MLM suits you, then I sincerely wish you good luck and every success. :)

I appreciate your opinion even though I believe you got a little hung up on the whole MLM Issue. If you just read a little more into what I was looking for was an answer to my question whether I can learn how to brand myself here or not, perhaps I should have made that more clear :) You did make valid points one of them being that I have no real business left should the Company ever go down. That is why I chose to Brand myself, since I plan to be around for a long time (God willing). I am looking to put out great Value things that will help people look and treat this like the business it is not a get Rich Quick for I know there are many people just " Selling People A Dream!! I don't know were my Journey may end but I am glad I found WA and get to connect with real people daily. Natalie

No probs. I focused on the MLM side as Kyle had already answered you in regard to branding yourself. :) R. x

Great Idea Natalie!

Thank You Rayden!!

This will definitely work just fine, you can promote whatever you like Natalie. It all comes down to finding and attracting an audience (done through content and SEO) and then helping that audience.

You could become a source of information to help people succeed and MLM could be just one facet of your website, perhaps you could promote WA to your audience as well as this may be a fit for them.

Once you understand the fundamentals of getting your website up and running and getting ranked, you are going to find that the sky is the limit.

It is a lot of Info and I think I just need to slow down a notch and take it all in at a slower pace. I was actually thinking the same about evantually also promoting WA, specially Newbies so they don't have to go thru the hoops the way I did but really anyone can learn here even seasoned Marketers. Glad to know I am on the right track and thanks for your quick response.

No problem and one foot in front of the other lol! You are definitely on the right track and if you do have any further questions, just ask. :)
