MS Paint disappeared? Here's its new location.
Earlier this year, Microsoft announced they were going to "deprecate" Paint and "may" remove it from future versions of Windows.
After the avalanche of anger, shock, sadness, and nostalgia MS received in reaction to that announcement, they've decided not to kill Paint after all.
I think they were hoping Paint users would be happy to use Paint 3D instead. That seems not to be the case, so Paint is safe for the foreseeable future.
What Microsoft may do is remove Paint during a Windows update and not include it in future installs. (Paint 3D will remain).

I made it up after the resurrection of Lazarus in the Bible. Something goes down and then miraculously reappears!

Wow - that was a FAST comment, lol! (less than 2 minutes after I posted: that has to be some kind of record)!
You're right - many people still love Paint. Poor Microsoft got hit with such a blizzard of "How dare you?!"'s, they had to axe their plans instead of the program, lol.
Have you tried Paint 3D yet? I haven't, but I'm curious about it. Is it awesome?
