We live in the technology-enabled world. Hard to imagine one day when we don’t use technology; it is everywhere and affects all sides of our lives by:
Delivering content– the messages that matter;
Providing tools – the resources which help us to create things and accomplish a variety of tasks;
Supporting media – the variety of methods for communication and self-expression;
Distributing and sharing resources based on requests and needs.
To manage and to use technology effectively, we all must have Digital Literacy skills which quite often are mixed with Digital skills.

- Discuss the benefits and drawbacks of different platforms and tools;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of provided tools to accomplish specific tasks;
- The ability to use social media safely to protect the personal reputation and personal data;
- Identify bias, prejudice, propaganda, and harassment;
- The ability to effectively use online search as a research tool, including:
- Selecting the right keywords;
- Evaluating results based on a variety of hints;
- Tracking information to a source;
- Assessing the credibility of information;
- Implement basic data security measures to protect personal information resources.

For those of us older than the milennials, it is a bit trickier but we practice we can give them a run for their money.. This comes from not having grown up with the technology. Great Post.
