Is there such a thing as a life purpose?

Why do we tend to feel like we need to fulfill some sort of life purpose?

I feel like my search for a life purpose has led me to feelings of anguish and fear of failure. Maybe this means that a life purpose is not really a thing?

Many people say that their life purpose is to help others achieve their goals. But so many of the same people never get to a point where they are really helping others. So if a life purpose means that one was born to do something, does this mean that they had no life purpose after all?

Does anyone have a life purpose? I would like to think that I do, and I can think of many reasons why I may have been led down the track I am on now. But there is no way for me to prove to myself that this is not just a trick of the mind.

After having researched what moments people tend to remember and cherish most in their lives, I found that the most common answer is 'moments of intimacy'.

I don't just think about it as moments of intimacy with people. I think of it as being connected with the world around me and being fully in the moment. That, to me, is what is most important.

I once read an article written by a 26 year old man who had cancer and was on his death bed. And his only advice was for people to cherish every waking moment that they have.

By constantly having your eye on a life purpose, you are not living fully in the moment. you are just looking forward to a better day, every single day. You may feel like your 'life purpose' is fulfilling, but it is really just another means by which your mind tries to protect itself from its own fears.

The truest joy is in the moment. There is no need to frantically try to figure out what you should do with your life. To figure it out, take reasonable steps to find your way. Follow your bliss in such a way that you keep learning what is right for you. Take courses and work jobs that you enjoy.

And, keep working at affiliate marketing. Once you reach your affiliate marketing goals, you will have more breathing room to allow yourself to stay in the moment.

Imagine that your living abode is small, but you know that when you finally earn more money, your place will only get bigger. You will have the luxuries of higher-quality things, and more lavish vacations. This will give you room to breathe!

ooh, very nice that: "by constantly having your eye on a life purpose, you are not living fully in the moment"

cherishing every waking moment - so true - takes practice :)
