SiteSpeed is killing me!

Hi guys!

I have been trying to improve my sitespeed for weeks now.

And I think I have tried all methods available ( maybe!!), I do not know how to get an all Green score in gtmetrix or in Google sitespeed.

I have cache plugin, have a cdn option, an image optimizer, but I still can't get a consistent speed!!

Am I missing something?

Have had this problem? How did you solve it?

kindly share the tips

Don't use GTMetrix, that a completely useless tool for checking on actual SiteSpeed, it actually creates load on your website.

Use PageSpeed insights. What are you getting when you check your insights here.

You can access your PageSpeed Insights for all of your sites within the SiteManager => SitePlus menu, where you will find a list of all the pages and their respective PageSpeed scores.

You can learn more about this platform here: This is a WA only platform that you can leverage to check out your overall PageSpeed scores and see which pages will are running a little slow, which ones are running fast, and you can go off directly to Google through this platform to analyze and asses the actual problems.

The most common issues for a slow loading site are slow images, slow plugins, or slow themes.

Yes, I do use that. I did not think about the theme, will check that. But I really like my theme, I don't want to change.....

I followed Kyle's training and increased my site speed and everything now seems to be in the 90s which I believe is excellent. Still not getting on front page of Gooogle or anything else for that matter so let's see now.

If the speed is good then the ranking is coming your way, no worries!

Hi Nana,
Have you tried the Lazy Load Plugin? please try it if you haven't.
Hope this helps
Jane

Yes, I do use lazy loads

Thanks, Steve

I guess you need to try other options, as suggested.
Best of luck

What about too many plug-ins?

Yes that's something I try to avoid but I have 7 plugins and I really need them. I am trying to find good plugins with 2 or more services to replace some.
