WHOA! My website just got indexed!
First of all to everyone, Happy New Year! I do hope everyone here has a great New Year experience and that this will be the start of something great for you.
As for me, my New Year experience was on a good foot......until I had to pay $80 for a Uber ride back home after the fireworks event that typically cost me $20-30 otherwise I may be stranded downtown for another 5-6 hours. Ouch.
That is NOT the start to the year that I was looking for, especially considering the cash strapped situation I am in.
So when I got back home, naturally I was annoyed that I threw away $50 for nothing and simply went to bed. However, things may be changing quicker than I thought. When I woke up this morning 5 hours later and logged on to WA, I ended up getting an achievement badge telling me that my website that I just created a domain for 3 days ago just got indexed!
Now THAT was a surprise! I wasn't expecting that at all considering I am still wondering how to create content on it. There is so many different ways to make content on my chosen niche but to get indexed before I actually get started is surprising........and goes to show I may be in the right position right now. Perhaps competition is so low for my chosen niche that just telling Google I am willing to purchase a domain is enough to get indexed.
Since I now have Google's blessing, this means that I need to repay Google back with quality content and really get my site up and going!
All I can say to everyone here is to keep your head up, doing all you can, and things like this can happen to you! I already got my first big victory and I hasn't made a dollar yet!
