Anthony, I wish I was far enough along to give you an educated/intelligent answer, but I'm not. Looks like Greek math to me! But I wish you much success with it, ever how it turns out.

Thanks Bunn for replying anyway .. It does help .. To your continued success ..

This blog is above my paygrade. However it is interesting and I am learning something about numbers witch is not a strong point for me.

lol - That's military talk Bill67.. I think disagreement brings the most learning experiences when done constructively without personal feelings involved..

I think it went above my paygrade too Bill67 , I wanted help with the numbers ,and it turned into scam and other stuff .. lol

Thanks for replying ..
To your continued success at WA ..

We are all in this community to learn and in the process of learning who does not make mistakes? I think all. I share the view of Job we have to treat with professionalism and respect.

I am of the same mind alexisnilo .. Thanks for your reply .. Would you happen to have experience with a PPC campaigns ?

The question in the post ask a question about the numbers .. Which has not been answered yet , only personal opinions and feelings have been given ..

Thanks in advance if you can answer the question ..

I'm sorry but I agree with Joe and coolcity. You should remove that-"$600+ free gift".Better to build your content on the truth.WA don't needs to be promoted like that.To your success...Good luck...

Thanks for the great feedback ... To your success ..

I'm not far enough along to give you any advice but best of luck with it.

Thanks ...

Cool!

Hey Anthony, Do I understand it right ? You did a test and the page didn't test well ?
I don't know about anyone else but I like the way you designed the page. Nice the way you opened with a squeeze.
The added testimonies are another nice touch.
Only thing I was not impressed with is you use Gmail. Use a email address from your website.

thanks mdmaxx.... Thanks for the feedback ...

Can I be honest? I am far from an expert and am going with how I view things as a consumer.

Bullet points are nice but I think you would have more success if you elaborated more with each point generating content. The reason I say that is just at a glance it almost looks like most scammy things out there in regards to making money online. .

As a consumer, when I was searching for online opportunities and I ran across a site with virtually no content and bulleted I skipped it especially if they have tons of testimonials. How many of us fell for a scam with a tons of testimonials on it? To me it throws up a lot of red flags. That is my opinion, as I said I am not an expert, and I'm still learning.

What sold me on WA was the site I ran across had tons of content on it and I read every line of it to see what the program was about. That is when I felt comfortable with giving this a shot, and it delivered everything it talked about. The details were what sold me. .

Also another red flag in my opinion was the 600 and something dollar free gift. That screams scam to me. How many people are going to give away free things that are costly? Not many. Most people like me see it as a scam, and if not a scam, a means to get my email to spam me to death with stuff I'm not interested in. Some people may view it as the email capture like I do, and most people do not want their email filled up with junk. I know I don't.

Also you mention using PPC. In my opinion if you built the site out more with relevant keywords inside quality content you wouldn't need to use PPC, because most of your traffic would be ranking organically.

Please forgive me being critical, but I want to be a success just like you, and I'm mentioning all of this because I want you to succeed. I've been burned a lot with online gimmicks, and a lot of them were set up similar to how your set up at the moment.

I think if you really build it out more you will have a lot more success, and maybe even not have to use PPC due to ranking high based on the content you write up on the program. As I said I am no expert by any means, but the reason I am writing this to you is that there are a ton of consumers like me who want to know the details, and not just an overview before they commit. The devil is in the details.

I agree 100% with Joe. I saw the intro and without even going any further down the page it instantly screamed at me, "this is another money making scam".

I also agree with the comment about the $600+ free gift, I would tone it down and just say that "a valuable free gift was available for a limited time" or something like that.

Then there are the phone numbers at the bottom:

Toll Free:
Mexico: (+52) 555555555
Spain: (+34) 555555555

Again that instantly makes it look like you have added two false phone numbers in countries thousands of miles apart, making the whole page look like a scam. That on it's own isn't doing you any favours.

I personally don't like the "in your face" call to action button at the top, I think people are a lot more wary these days and like to know a little bit about what is on offer before they commit. I would lead them in gently rather than hammering it down their throats. That might have worked 10 years ago but not these days.

A lot of people have come from scammy websites and are looking for the real deal (like WA); that to me just looks as if it is just going to direct me to another scammy deal.

Thanks for the great feedback Joe , you made some great points ... PPC is a great way to get more eye balls on your content .. I guess it's a choice between slow and steady, and fast and hard .. Using both is a great combo .

Moreover a lead capture page is for capturing leads , to peek interest in the person that is searching , not to give details .. I feel very comfortable with the offer I am promoting,(ie, Wealthy Affiliate) so it's a matter of peeking interest with mystery over details ..

I always keep in mind that the people that are searching online are looking to solve a problem , not buy on the first time around .(Very important fact ) The free offer gives them time to self evaluate to see if the offer solves their problem .

The free offer builds truths in the beginning, because I'm not asking for money up front , if I was asking for money upfront I would be using a sales page with persuasion in the copy and all kind of details ...

Again thanks for the great feedback ..
To your success ...

Thanks for the great feedback too coolcity , I did not catch the two phone numbers .. thanks for that ..

Great advice on the 600 dollar thing , I thought it was too much too, but I was using it , because it's stated on that page with that free gift offer ..Might have to change that ..

As far as the marketing goes , check out the reply I left for Joe .. Thanks again you guys have some great feedback to offer ..

To your continued success at WA ...

I would look to change it

Great but message are you trying to put across? Got a bit lost in the beginning. Have a look at http://workwithbigjohn.com to give you a better idea.

Looking at the numbers , would you say this is a good campaign , or should I go in and change somethings ?

Not sure how that website helps with my campaign ?

Hi WA family , does anyone have experience using optimize press on a word press theme ? Any advantages or disadvantages ? Thinking about building a membership site in the future

optimize theme requires 64mb but we only have 8mb how do we upgrade our memory

Hi there,
I just tried to install Optimize press but get a failure notice. It used to work when I had another webhost but I can not seem to make it work here with wordpress express.
I simply get a message saying: please try again
What could be the problem???
thanks

I am not sure I do know that when WP updated recently certain plugins would no longer work, try asking in the live chat failing that you can ask Kyle or Carson

Thank you, will do soo,
Cheers,
Joakim

I've tried the lite version from 1.0. And my experience is that activating it makes it your theme, and it's great for squeeze (landing page), thank you and download pages. OP is a theme on it's own, but you can customize it with your own header, etc. With what I had it was either activate a Wordpress theme OR activate OP theme. I couldn't do both from within the same Wordpress dashboard. Just like now, it's either one theme or another. I know that Aweber works with it. Of course you can add pages to your Wordpress site and have OP activated at the same time. So you can send someone an email with a link that leads to a page related to your site.
But I couldn't get my pages to show correctly in a menu with the OP version I had.

Laura, sounds very knowledgable, and is correct that you need a subdomain, but they don't operate off the same WP dashboard. Well mine didn't. Version 2 is simpler and better than version 1, from what I can make out, and will cost from around $97. Have you thought of the Genesis theme? It's apparently very good too and very customizable.

Like any software one needs to understand it and use it effectively, but you can be sure there be a cost to it. If you go to optimizepress dot com I am sure you will find out a whole lot more.

Hi MyJobKiller, if you are asking if you can keep the theme that your blog is on now and use the OP just for your squeeze, confirm, thank you and membership pages, yes you can. You have to do a second installation, your blog would be www.yourdomain.com and you would install a second wordpress on the same domain using a sub domain, www.yourdomain.com/funnel/ (or whatever you want to call it) On the second install you install the OP theme and would use your pages for your squeeze, confirm, thank you and membership. I hope this makes sense. Contact me if you need more info.

Thanks for the reply Bald Eagle , Maybe I did not explain myself correctly , I am aware OP is a theme . What I was wondering, if you download that theme how do you keep the same theme that you have now for your blog , without having to go with OP theme, but keep the same theme ..

If I am not mistaken if you download OP theme you give up your current theme, not really sure .. I did switch from OP theme to the theme I have now, and I had to start all over again . It would be good if you could keep the same theme and use the pages within the OP theme ...

Have you tried this ?

By installing activating OP you are changing your theme no way around that

I use OptimizePress. It is a great Theme with lots of functions which are very easy to use. Makes for very appealing sites
I have never used the Membership site options but I am sure it will be good.
Support is fast and excellent.
Highly recommend.
And just in case …. I am an affiliate of theirs.
Wink, wink.
http://nanacast.com/vp/97647/329560/

Thanks Bald Eagle , do you have the upgraded or the 1.0 version? When you installed were you able to keep the same blog theme and add the blog as one of your pages ? I have the 1.0 and was wondering if you downloaded it onto your blog that you have set up now would it mess it up ?

Thanks for the reply ...

I have vers 1.0
Your terminology is incorrect. OP is a theme.
But it is a theme with additional options and short cuts to some awesome features.
Download the OP into a zip file then open Themes in Word Press and "upload New" Drag and drop the zip file and you are done.
Install and you are up and running.
It would take your existing blog and all should be the same. Any changes would be minor and as I said the support is fantastic

Do you use OptimizePress 2 on a website hosted here?
