The Honeymoon Is Over!

I hope you are enjoying the day off from work if you don't have to work, and for those of us who have to work today, I hope you will enjoy the day off when it comes around!
Just a quick update with what is happening over in our mastermind group last week. As I know our time is valuable, I will keep it brief!
We are moving along and I think at a great pace...sometimes I yearn for time-out, but I remind myself that this is for the long-haul and it is a plan of action that needs to be implemented on a daily basis!
I know I will eventually find my 'rhythm'.
So, what did we accomplish:
- our primary mantra reminder - consistency and daily routines - you have to stay the course and keep doing the routine. Yes, the honeymoon is over, now its time to build the marriage, and this will take time.
- CTR - what is your 'click-through-ratio'? Well, the average is approximately 1%. For example - 1000 visitors means 10 people actually taking notice. So, it is so important to work on getting the traffic to your website. It is a small handful that really takes notice.
- Conversion rate - the average of that is 10%. So to continue with the above example, you have 10 people taking notice, then 10% of that number, means only 1 may convert! Yes, it's in the numbers. So, yes, it comes back to the traffic - you have to work on your traffic getting to your website - it is a given!
- monetizing your website using ebooks - yes, you can create an ebook by using the content you have created from you earlier posts and voila - your ebook for sale. Then you can take it one step further (if you like), after adding it to your website and using the PayPal 'buy now button', you can also sell it on Amazon! These are little ways but still effective ways to help make your website a source of income for you!
Of course, none of this is new because we all learn the same stuff from the course classrooms, we just need a gentle reminder occasionally.

Yes, you are finding your rhythm here at WA, it shows! Great points about consistency and daily routine - the 1st off your list is making a small difference in my own life on a weekly basis since joining WA in August 2017. Also, the ebook suggestion is great for a Wealthy Affiliate promoting site as I continue to build this out, I think that would be useful for many to achieve as an addl. option of income.

Concerning ebooks- do you hire professionals to do a design of a book to present it on Amazon? It needs to look good , I presume, to be paid attention to. but it can sure be a source of income with all the money coming to us, not just commissions...:)

I do my own design, but of course, you can always check out Fiverr and see if you can find someone to work with your budget. Or of course, right here on campus - see if there are any tips/videos/blogs to help our creative juices in this respect.

Oh yes, the daily work must continue. I do mean daily. I work my time in according to my day
I'm in the process of compiling an ebook and possible setting it up as a series that I can "bundle" as another tier offer. I'm learning so much...my brain is over-heating I think. LOL!

My articles have helpful, quality content helping women and men to make a decision for their needs so this will be perfect.
It's to find how to write an publish, I'll have to research it.
