Revamping your posts

Hey there Guys 'n Dolls!

I hope it is a wonderful time of reflection for you when you take the time to do it!

Speaking of reflection, I would like to share a few words.

I am talking about reflection on your PREVIOUS posts on your website(s).

From time to time, I think it is a GREAT idea to review and update your older posts. And once you do, you should re-post to your social media sites. It can't harm and for sure it will do some good.

More importantly, you will SEE your progress thus far. You will say this for sure:

"Did I write this?"

Of course, the 'awe' of the moment will be a 'great' one or a 'OMG, my, I have grown'!

Either way you slice it, you will see your progress!

Give it a shot!

Namaste

Hope all is good with you

You're welcome, S. Everything is wonderful with me and the family. How is you son doing? How are you and the family?

Hey Michelle, glad to hear it. My son is doing great thank you. It´s his birthday tomorrow. A big 17.

Wow, I´m getting old lol. But I´m still having a proud daddy moment. He´s top of the class in his college course :)

He is much more technical than me. I might have to recruit him to get some help with my websites :)

S

LOL...awesome, dad. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. Congrats, another milestone reached.
SO proud and happy for you.
Namaste.

Re-vamping or simply reflecting on whether it is still a good fit would help in the long run.

Yeah! I like it!

Awesome, MB. Glad it resonated with you.
M

Going back to your work may lead you to revise, edit or just affirm it.

Absolutely, J. Never too old to reassess, redirect, and renew.

That is such a good idea Michelle sometimes is is hard to get a measure of our progress once you get over the cringe factor we can appreciate how far we have come by doing this.

Absolutely, A. Sort of like a measuring stick, if you will.
M

Great idea

You're welcome, A.

I had to chuckle Michelle...I have done this and have been so surprised at what I thought was Ok at the time of writing a post now looks - well, let's say NOT so good hehe...

Your advice is sound...You can add updated information, perhaps edit the way you say things, and generally make it look more professional...

Well worth the time and it can add mileage to your posts because you can often do a better job with another look, and readers will appreciate that you have taken the time to do this (you can add in at the top a statement "Updated on xxxx, xxx." to let them know)...

Cheers!
Dave : )

Yes, indeed. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts, D. Well said.
M

That's really true, Michelle.

Yes, Judy. Your past can be your lesson for today.
