Have You Ever Just
Hello Guys 'n Dolls,
How are you doing today?
Just checking in to say hello.
Have you ever just...shut off your computer and then reconnected with the 'real' world after shutting up yourself in the 'virtual reality' of your business?
Well, I did this past week and I am happy I did.
Now, it's back to the grind, but I will do things differently. Less 'long hauls' and more frequent 'life interactions'.
How do you handle it?

Thanks for sharing, Michelle. I seem to have “long hauls” here and long periods away. After the latter, I sometimes find it difficult to get back, by a day or two, even if I can do it sooner Then once I sit at my computer...! I need not say more because I enjoy being here.
I need to find a balance; I need to find a method to handle the two.

Yes, I understand and I have been there, but remember, the ones you work so hard for, are still there while you work.

Weekends are my time to reflect on life outside my computer and spending time with loved ones. I also like to take an hour or two each day during the week to go to the gym and work out. Doing this releases the energy bottled up from sitting! Nice post!

Yes, Erin. You are so right. I need to seriously factor in some 'people time' in my 'work day'. It is so easy to get 'caught up and drawn in' once you sit at this computer.

Hi Michelle- It can be very addictive and you must have life balance in order to remain fresh.
Plan your work and work your plan and fit everything else in between
Stay fresh so you can focus

Since joining just over a month ago, I have become a snob in my own house lol
Training, articles to write, emails to check etc
I am absolutely loving it. The excitement and accomplishing new things. Its great!
However, I know I need to find balance because lots of other things need my attention, like yesterday hehe
I will work it out eventually and if not I'm sure it will come up again to remind me :)

I agree, it is definitely good to unplug once in awhile and refresh! A little R & R never hurt anyone.

It has been awhile since I have completely unplugged. But, Friday and Saturday was very limited online time. My hubby will be on vacation soon, so I will take a few days then.
