6 Other Words Instead

Good day Guys 'n Dolls!

Here's to the middle of a great weekend wherever you find yourself! I hope it is in a place you choose to be.

I was at it again...reading and soaking up information...and I thought about my friends here at WA!

Do you sometimes have a 'word bleep' where you find yourself saying 'very' too often?

Well, I found a VERY extensive list with 'other words' we could use instead of adding a 'very' to them.

Here are 6 - instead of saying:

  • very accurate say exact
  • very slow say sluggish
  • very important say crucial
  • very difficult say arduous
  • very cute say adorable
  • very stupid say idiotic

And the list goes on.

While I was writing, I thought of a few as I am sure you could too. SO, the next time you feel very passionate about something, maybe you should be more fired up instead!

Namaste

Yes...instead of "what the hell do you mean?"...try"intriguing"...uh oh...just gave away one of my favorites...don't tell!...

LOL...intriguing!

I find myself doing this exact thing; either using the term "very" or "really" to emphasize a word. I've been working on using a better synonym, even when I'm just having a simple conversation so that using those terms would become second nature.

Great idea, Krystle...that's....v....Fabulous!
LOL

Very good...I mean, outstanding!!!

LOL...indeed Miss Vee...hope you are well and having a great weekend!
