You can update your tagline in the wordpress dashboard Settings -> General.
They recommend keeping the redirects inplace for 30 days to give the search engines to update their indexes. Since it's already deleted you can try to recreate the site on the old domain and then you some sort of redirect plugin to redirect the old urls to the new urls.

It does take some time for Google to get 'settled' when you do something like this, especially if the old site was indexed already

I've bought my domain name, however I am concerned. Reasons are the one I wanted was for sale but on another site to WA. My only option here was a hyphenated one, which I have
It is not so easy to understand, but you can buy a domain anywhere and keep it there and still build a site with it at WA. You can also transfer it to WA.
I would not go for hyphenated. Being hyphenated probably implies that there is something similar without a hyphen. Better go for something unique, this is just my thinking, not necessarily important.
I just checked the other one and it was $1250 anyway lol. I've paid for the hyphenated one. However there is a .net one that isn't hyphenated. Do you think that would be better?
There is net; but this implies that com or org are used by somebody. Right? Perhaps you can search and check. It can be that they are not used yet, just taken. In any case, this means having the same name as somebody else, I would not do it.
It's not used by anyone else. The .com one is for sale by different company to the WA one but it's really expensive at £1000. Guess I'll have to re- think my name and pay for another :-(
I've also read it's not good to have 2 hyphens in a domain. I'm really disappointed. Bad start.
