What Are You Thankful For?
Are you thankful for anything today? Sometimes we become so entangled with the activities of life that we lose sight of the fact that we have so much to be thankful for. We just take all our blessings for granted. Are you in good healthy? Is all well with your loved ones? Do you have a job? Do you have a home? Do you have food to put on your table?
Three mornings ago I was in a horrible vehicular accident that could have claimed my life but I thank God that I survived to tell of it. What it emphasised to me is the need to be thankful at all times because we never know what the next moment could bring.

I hope you recover nicely from your accident. Everyone walks through life as if they're immoratal, thinking that nothing is going to happen to them. They don't feel thankful because to us there is nothing to be thankful for. But when accidents happen, it is like a wakeup call and we realise that things we take fro granted won't last forever so we should be thankful for all we have.

I'm thankful for the creator himself. I have my why's because of my son, but l learned that complaining about it isn't going to make things better. Instead, I put a plan into action and will build a great future for me, my children and help other along the way.
At this time of year the lilacs are in flower with their powerful fragrance. They only bloom once a year in May for a short time around Mother's Day (in the USA and Austria). The last few years, every time I go past a lilac tree and smell the fragrance I am thankful that I am still alive and able to appreciate it. So when I went for a walk with my dog this morning I once again stopped and was truly grateful simply for still being alive and able to enjoy these 'small' things.
I am grateful for always having God on my side when i get stuck,i am grateful for all the love i receive every day,and grateful to have a future to look forward to...glad u r ok,All the best!

I am thankful I found a solution to my alcoholism because so many do not
I witnessed death almost on a regular basis when I went to Alcoholics Anonymous, It put things in perspective, as one day you sat next to someone in a meeting the next week you found out he was dead because he went back on the drink
