I'm Stepping Away For A While
I have been here 4 months now and it has been a very interesting experience thus far. I have made good progress: I've started my own website, I've earned a top 100 WA rank, I have met some lovely people and I have gained a whole lot of new knowledge about internet technology and marketing. However, I could have done a lot more in terms of my site progress, but time is often not on my side.
So I log on when I do find a little time but when I do, I head to the live chat more often than to my site, which is still in need of significant content and updates. Honestly, and I have seen others express this, the live chat is really relaxing and a bit addictive. Everyone I encounter there is so friendly and helpful. We don't just chat about WA and affiliate marketing but we chat about life and just "things" in general. Many times by the time I'm through chatting, I have no more time to devote to my site.
So, I've decided that I need to step away from the chat for a while. I will not be going into the live chat over the next few days and focus on completing my website. Some of my regular live chat buddies have even supported me in this decision :-). Sometimes the things we like are not the things we need at a given point in time. So I'll be a bit quiet for the next few days, taking time to do what needs to be done.

Too bad you are stepping away for awhile, but I support your decision. You are noticing and prioritizing aspects of your online work and you will be more successful for it. Good luck and come let us know how you are doing! :)
Go right ahead sister. All play and no work...... so do take time and take care of business. Having that site up and running and rolling in some dough is the primary reason you joined WA. Let's know when it's up and I will be happy to review if you need me to.

Hi, Mustard Seed!.-Excellent Post ...it's good for the soul and many other things to to get off the fast track, the goat herding, the grind or whatever makes you happy and just cool off for a while. Your goals are great ... keep work on the Site and after things cool down a bit, you can evaluate what, if anything, you need or want to do and get back on harness. Good luck, my good friend!
That is a good idea. There are many times when we tend to lose track of time communicating via other means and forgetting that we came here for another reason. Take you time in developing you site you will be better for it in the long run. Take care and wishing you the best to you and your developing website.

Good deal! Get your site going and your marketing up and running. That's way more important than chatting. I know it can be addicting but having your own site that makes money is even more addicting ;)
