Hi everyone

I'm having trouble getting Google Adsense approval. Was wondering if anyone can help.

Google has given me the follow message which I'm having trouble u

Looking way back when I applied, I had the same message. When they say ’Under Construction’ what they really mean is your website is young, with not much content or traffic. Have got 100+ posts yet, and is your daily traffic in double figures (I.e organic and referral - direct doesn’t count)?

Hi there, thanks for your message. I haven't done much work to my site in the last 12 months but having said that it's still getting around 100 users a day. I have close to 100 posts and the contents good. I think Dianne might be right, there a few 404's which I need to fix but I'm also wondering if I have too many affiliate links?

https://theoutdoorden.com/bargains
https://theoutdoorden.com/how-to-travel-cheaper

Don't change too many things, before re-applying otherwise you'll never know what the problem was.

I suggest fixing the 404s and then trying AdSense again.

If AdSense still turns you down, remove a couple of affiliate links.

Approaching this issue this way, you'll know for the future what the problem is.

Cheers Paul

Hi - do you have any links that don't lead anywhere? For example, do you have any categories in any of your menus, that don't actually have anything in them?

Hi, thanks for your message. Yes, I do have some 404's I'll fix those and see what happens. I'm also wondering if I have too many affiliate links and banners?

Do you still have All-in-One activated as well? If so, this can cause problems, otherwise, I suggest looking for the answers in the Yoast plug-in site where you will find more Yoast users.

Yes I do.

You only need one SEO plug-in, running both All-in-One and Yoast will cause multiple problems on your site. Choose one or the other.

Hey Murray,

Please contact SiteSupport and let them know of this error message and be sure to provide them with as much detail as you can provide. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support

It looks though you may have an issue with a plugin you installed recently. However support will be able to determine exactly the issue and resolve it for you.

Hope this helps you.

Hey Trish, thanks for that.

Can I ask you another question? On Google Console, I'm getting an error marked ‘noindex’’, which currently affects 18 pages. Do you know how I can fix this? These pages are all categories.

Hey Murray,

Google searching "google analytics - how to fix noindex" (without the quotation marks, of course) I discovered the following...

Try what the screen print suggests doing. Apparently it is a flaw in Google Console.

Yeah I've tried that but the error still appears on the google console

It doesn't disappear the minute you do the steps shown in the screen print. You could write Google if it is important for you to have it fixed sooner, though that may not make a difference either.

Google search using the phrase I used and see if you can find the post with to domain name shown in my screen print label. The author explained all of the steps they did. The screen print is the important step.

Hi Murray,

That's probably an object/variable handling PHP error caused by a plugin incompatibility. Or a temporary PHP malfunction in your hosting account ..

If you created the PHP source code manually it could be a typing error (missing bracket, etc) in the line nr 1820

But, I assume that you haven't coded the PHP file manually, so if you can't solve the issue by simply reloading the page a few times (or waiting a few hours) then you should try to re-create the content of the whole page on a new page (step-by-step) to identify the content piece (code segment) that could cause the error message.

Also, update anything you can: Wordpress, plugins, etc. If there are no available updates, but you have installed new plugins recently, try to deactivate the newly installed plugins to eliminate possible incompatibility issues.

Regards,
Zed

Hi Zed

Thanks for your message. I haven't coded anything so it's not that. I did install Yeast SEO plugin last week. Perhaps I'll deactivate and reinstate as you suggest.

I have about 8 category pages and when I select each one I get the same error... it's odd its never happened before.

Cheers
Murray
