Hi everyone, I just wrote my first article and want to know if there is someone in the community that can help me make sure the article reads well and that there are no grammar

Hi, feel free to show me, I can have a look

Hi Khadine, Thank you.

“If you march into any battle without the proper troops, supplies, ammunition, and staying power, you will return home defeated. It's as simple as that. It's not enough to occupy a territory. You have to be able to keep it.” Grant Cardone

Most people underestimate the effort and energy required to successfully bring a project to fruition especially when they are starting their own business. Always approach a new project or business with 10 times more effort and energy than you think it is going to take.

New entrepreneurs are always fired up at the start of a new venture, overflowing with enthusiasm and optimism which frequently clouds their judgement and they misjudge the amount of effort required to get the business of the ground. Don’t get me wrong, enthusiasm and optimism are essential to the success of any project, but it should not prevent you from thinking clearly about the amount of effort required to complete it. Tackle your project as if your life depends on it; tackle it with 10 times more effort than you think might be needed.

Take the story of Grant Cardone for example. He started his first business when he was 29 years old. He had prepared for it, or so he thought and assumed that it would only take three months to get income rolling in, boy was he in for a surprise. It took him almost three years to get his business producing the income he expected to achieve in three months; that is 12 times longer than he expected, all because of the amount of resistance and disappointment he experienced. He even created a list of reasons why he was going to fail. Then one day, Grant changed his way of thinking. Instead of finding reasons to fail, he turned the negative energy into positive action and increased his effort 10 times. Immediately the new business began to flourish.

When you have underestimated the effort and energy necessary to start a new business, you entire being will be begging you to "quit.” You won’t have the willpower to get the things done that need to get done. You will become visibly disappointed, discouraged and assume that your target is unattainable and ultimately give up on your dreams. However, when you correctly estimate the effort and energy required, your being will be energized. Those around you will sense your intentions and recognise that you are a force to be reckoned with.

We, humans, tend to be more emotional than logical; we judge ourselves and others as deficient to justifying why things are not working out. This is most likely due to how we were raised and the content that has been fed to us by the media and the current outdated education system. We make excuses like, "I’m not good enough,” this isn’t working”, “I’m not cut out for this", “they are not doing what I need them to do”. Excuses followed by more excuses.

Start every project with the knowledge that it will take more effort and energy than you can imagine. Attack it with the determination of a world class athlete going to the biggest sporting event of his or her career. Multiply every thought and action by 10, apply The 10X Rule by Grant Cardone. If it then takes less effort than you anticipated, awesome! It is better to be pleasantly surprised than greatly disappointed.

Always follow through to the end, a hallmark of every champion. Always adopt an “in-it-to-win-it-whatever-it-takes” mindset and stop making excuses.

The principals laid out in the article are focus on entrepreneurs starting a new business venture, but they can be applied to any project or task; whether it is getting a new job, building a house, learning a new skill or getting that promotion.

Corrections will be in the brackets. They are small. You did really well, I love the ideas in the article. Put in these small corrections and it will be great.

Fantastic and thank you so much for your help. You rock!

You're welcome. It was not difficult since it was very well written. Even with Eng as a second language you nailed it.

I think you did awesome, loving the motivation behind it. Minor corrections as catlady13 mentioned, I have pretty much the same.

Hi, how soon do you need it done? I have helped a couple people, but I am working on content for my own site and would like to continue that for some time.

Hi catlady, thank you for responding. I'm not looking to take up more than 5-10 minutes of your or anyone's time. Just a quick overview and maybe one or two quick comments. Thanks again.

Other than having someone do a review, can I post it somewhere where the community can comment on it?

Tell me what your website is. I'm a retired English teacher so I'm pretty good at proofing

Hi, my website is still under construction, only been here for a few days now.
