Is anyone earning money from just the Amazon UK associate program?
Yes...
But I don't limit myself to one only...have the Amazon US also...
In addition, join a few networks such as linkshare / shareasale / commission junction etc.
If you are based on the UK, try affiliate window network as they have alot of uk merchants
No problem, I have joined all the networks listed above. Apply then to merchants related to your niche.
Type in a product name in their network
Search for merchants
Then apply to be their affiliate.
Some will agree and some won't for various reasons

If I am targeting the UK market, should I use a .co.uk or .com domain name?
I will be creating an amazon niche blog.
if both are available then there is no harm in ,com as this is the most wanted on the net also if you want to sell your domain then .com is the one conversely if not available then as in the UK it is as powerful to use .co.uk as you are in the UK.if you do not wish to sell your site then .co.uk is good.
If you are only targeting the UK, then a .co.uk could work. If the .com domain is available though, you might want to grab that, but .co.uk would be fine.
.com will rank globally, so even for country specific promotions it is generally the preferred choice if it is available.
