The Rare View
I am acting on my innermost desires. For far too long, I have lived among people who have never given any thought to seeking their true monetary value or their life's worth. I had an academic understanding of earning my true worth; I experienced making money in a business of my own. I even left the regular job situation for awhile. However, I happily returned to the "security" of the wage mirage and quickly forgot the freedom of earning my worth. I have lived to regret that and can testify to the fallacy of "the golden Years". Retirement, as popularly defined and sold to the society, is nothing but a bald-faced lie. To fit in, a person has to reject his own capabilities and mentally and physically agree to submit to life far below his capacity. I am not one of the herd and will never agree to quietly fade into oblivion. I shall bide my time only until I can, once again, see the world from its highest places. I live for the rare view.

Yes!!! I completely agree. Too many people don't go after what they truly want to do or what we love. Life is meant to be lived. It is better and truly fulfilled when we all choose to do something that makes us happy.
