After the nightmare.
Well after waiting 60 days and spending the better part of 2 trying to get my domain name transferred from GoDaddy to WA, I guess my effort (and stubborness to change domain names) paid off. With abolutely no content, just the domain name.com got me indexed on Google within 12 hours and moved me up 9000 spots in the WA rankings. I take it I got a good domain name? Now busting my butt on content and monetizing. Maybe 2 months of work with WA and this newbie thinks it might be safe to go yearly and save. AND, the editor of Ukraine: Culture and Life magazine wants me to do 3500 words on"Why I am retiring in Ukraine". Guess my blogging and writing skills just got a big ego boost(they needed it). Thanks WA!! Now if my Volunteers just had a football team again. Have a great weekend everybody.

Hi Mark,
I checked with numbeo.com. It showed me the cost of living in Kiev vs. Chandler, Arizona. The numbers are pretty much right on.
I used to live in Southaven, Miss. About 1 or 2 miles south of Memphis. I worked in Tunica, Miss. I was right near I-55.
I had similar problems transferring websites and domain names from Go Daddy and others. You are right: it is a nightmare.
Thanks for following me.
Chuck
P.S. Did you get my PM?
Yes, Mark, it was. In Memphis and surrounding areas, if yearly rainfall was less than 50 inches, they considered it a drought. In the Phoenix area, we are lucky to get 8 inches of rain a year.
Thanks for your comment. BTW, I was there when Peyton played four years for Tennessee.
I had season ticket for about all the 90's. Are you on facebook. I have a bunch of great groups from Ukraine on my fb page.
Hi Mark, I have three friends from Ukraine who are on FB. Two are in Odessa and the third is in Kiev. They all speak English and Ukraine, which I believe, is liberating for them.
Thanks for the comment. I'm on FB as Chuck Landi. Write to me sometime.
Nice job Mark! So why do you want to retire in Ukraine? :)
Where are you currently?
Keep up the good work!

I am in Memphis for couple of months trying to sell a cemetery plot. The cost of living in Ukraine 70-75% cheaper than usa and my girlfriend of 5 years is there. Check out numbeo.com and you can see the price comparison.
Hey Mark,
Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog. Sounds like you are having one of those days. Hope it will be over shortly!!
