Have you ever worked really hard for something, but it always felt out of reach? How did you feel?
Well here are a few ways to build positive thinking when you are having a not so positive moment.
1. Practice gratitude. Spending time thinking about the good things we have to be grateful for will encourage a more appreciative spirit.
2. Take a walk and take the time to actually enjoy it.
3. Turn off the news. Who needs all that negativity?
4. Smile! Smiling naturally boosts seratonin levels and acts as a mood elevator and you use less facial muscles.
5. Start a success journal. Whether online or in a notebook, it will assist in encouraging yourself and inspire others
6. Send out real "thank you" cards..- Not just an e-card.
7. Reach out to others. Reaching out to others gets a greater response than trying to get others to reach out you.
8. Find an inspirational quote and keep it with you and read it often throughout the day.
So, whenever you are feeling less than positive, give these ideas a try. They are free, revives energy, and you may even receive a hug!
