oh, I did get It right In the question I see that now:) but yes as I said, It only happens with my title at top of my site..

I don`t know anything about coding or .css so I have only tried out at the customizer tab In dashboard. I can change the title font, but It won`t stick for long. I can`t seem to find the option for title changes In tinymice.

Hello Kristian,

Or you change your theme like Marion proposes or I do take a look into your theme to change it there (and probably it will not change anymore after that.)

If you want the last option: please let me know your, theme and your website...

Are you working on your site and just changed the font to Kaushian?

Yes, that`s the font I wanted for my title, but It goes back to another one, not sure If It Is when I re-enter site-display. That`s the one that always have been active, but It pops back to another one(default probably, without me chosing It). So It will probably change again If I do some work In dashboard.

seems like It has changed again, It says Kaushian on my site display, but not what I see when I visit my site or log out and visit my site. It`s not stable

Keep refreshing and changing, I have to do something else now, but we definitely are going to fix this little bugger... Have already spent too much time to leave as is now. But is a difficult theme you have chosen in the background. And "first theme" is not the best name to search in google, because everybody made their first theme once...
But that is not THE first theme... ;-)

yes, It usualy stays for a while, and that Is what always shows on appearance-cut.-title, but It does change every now and then.( I have tried from other pc as well). I have visited the site a couple of times and It has been showing both, at the moment It shows Klaushian. Should I send a message when It pops back maybe?
and what do you think of the header/font?
maybe It`s only me that like It that much..It all looks clean and simple and thats what I`m trying to achieve. So I haven`t designed a header.

right now when I reload page and chose "visit site" It has changed from Kaushian to the other one, and still after I log out go to my address....It may change back again though..I don`t know:) will stay away from any action or log In on my page..and only reload.

On this site "http://ignorant-test.siterubix.com/" I have set it and it does not change...
And on your site it also is not changed...

I think there was a problem (maybe a cache problem) before, but I start to think it solved itself...

What is your opinion?

I`m not sure, I opened my website from another pc earlier and the wrong font was showing. So It Is ok every now and then....

That's not OK, when is not consistent it is not OK...

I will check if the googleapi thing causes also problems for other people....

ok, tnx! It still change from time to time..I don`t know why, maybe It`s when I do a certain action...but I stayed away from logging In and only revisited my own site, and asked others to do so. They have seen both fonts...should I change theme? and If do u know of a very stable theme?

I did learn something new there,thanks-some good Info there..but It doesn`t help with my problem about getting my posts assigned to pages in menu.That`s why I changed my "page" into "category".Then I can put them under any page/category, but the text "category:xxxx" will show above my post,

Kristian, I think you're smart to solve that small problem, just ignore it first, you have searched button used that to research maybe It help you out, Can you share your URL ?

I think I may have wasted 2 days on this matter for no reason:) I believe only I can see It..I logged out and visited my site and It didn`t show the text at top..lol. Well not wasted after all- I did learn a lot on the path:) Can`t believe I didn`t try that, but when I chose "visit site" I thought I looked at the post exactly as other ppl would.
You learn something everyday, and that`s the fun:)

thanks:) there will be alot of troubleshooting to come In near future, but I kinda like It..you learn a lot:) I haven`t done anything to the site when It comes to outlay/design and the content I have put out Is more like a "draft" to get something on It that I can work on.I have mostly spent my time reading and learning about WP and Affiliate Marketing (as I knew NOTHING about either of them 2 weeks ago)
So I don`t want to share my url here yet, but I can send It to u on PM, cause I will soon need some advice when I take the next step...

oh, Kristian just continue your training lesson everything will be in the right place as you wish, need you focus and determination to come up with that goal, just enjoy experimenting your site, that's the easy to learn and get to know the WA tools, and your word press. :)

I can`t believe I couldn`t get that to work earlier as I have tried that multiple times..maybe I didn`t hit the "add to menu" button good enough (my mouse buttons can be a little sketchy). Thanks for the help, I`m just happy It worked now,whatever I did wrong:)

That's what I had to learn also. Drag and Drop in the Edit Menu how you want the titles on your Home (first) Page listed. DAN

yes, and I knew how to..even wayched the tutorial twice, and read about It..so must have been a minor detail somewhere I messed up after to many hours in front of the screen:) BUT I learned to fully understand the menu, and how to place "privacy policy" In the foother menu etc etc while doing this, that`s the beauty of troubleshooting:)

I can`t, the pages doesn`t show in "manage location" menu

can only re-place the menu...

When editing my text In a wordpress doc, I can`t mark a singel word to change heading, I can only mark the whole text(ctrl+a)and then change fonts or size for ALL text. Normaly u can mark a singel word w/right mousebutton and then make changes.I couldn`t even change the whole text before I installed the tiny mice advanced plugin.

I see what you meant. I had the exact same problem when i downloaded tiny mice advanced plugin. You might want to deactivate the plugin first, switch to an old theme like Twenty Eleven, switch it back..then activate the plugin again

hmm, weird..still can`t change a word at a time, can only mark text with shortcut...maybe I will start all over with a new theme...

btw I ment "marking" a word with LEFT mouse button:) just shows an X (like: not allowed!!) :) maybe It`s a browser or platform problem..

Are you using Chrome? Chrome is a problem for me

yes I use Chrome, I was thinking that might be the problem....don`t want to change though,but maybe I should. Do you use another one now?

I did get to turn the "highlight" on with "ctrl-alt-h" but the colour doesn`t show, so It can be frustrating to work with maybe, but at least some progress:)

I couldnt get it to work on Chrome then i switched to IE & it was ok. However I love Chrome too much so i switched back & it somehow work again LOL
