Ready To Work On My Website!
So..finally!
I am ready to work on my website, and make It more professional.
I have made some content (don`t pay to much attention to It, as It Is a work In progress and will be edited many times yet).
So to learn more about WP and design/outlay/functions, I`m leaving the content for a while, and will work on the look for the next days. In that matter I have some questions to what you think about some of my ideas. Some of the things I`m thinking about:
- should I move comments to appear at the bottom of posts instead of as It Is now?
- Is my choice of font and size of font, and headlines ok?
- black white Is very reader friendly, but a little boring as well. I want an easy to read and navigate site for all. There will be more ads and pics later which will help, but If I add some coulour, where would you like to see It?
- I will add a right sided menu or rearrange how It look when I have more posts, have you any other suggestions to different functions you would like to see on a page?I`m thnking about a background of the whole site maybe? then I may keep It simple, but more nice to look at? I will make a logo as well.
- should I have a "home" menu where all my posts shows?
Any feedback Is good and much appreciated.
Remember. I have not done much to the site yet, but I need to get It out there to get some feedback so I can take the next step:)

You have a start...but start writing. Your website, regardless what the topic is, is all about you...the way you say what you have to say it. The more you write the better you will get and YOU will be able to edit your pieces to see if it is really what you want. Writing is a very interesting topic but it really boils down to this, "tell them what you are going to tell them" "tell them" and then "tell them what you told them." I know that sounds a little too rudimentary but in reality it always works that way. Also when in doubt ask them for an action like "please comment" or "what did you think of my review" or I would love to hear from you." But write my friend, write. DAN

Yes I will write, I needed to understand what I was gonna write about first,and then I needed to understand WP a little..but have cleared up In some of the Issues I had, and I needed a better look of my page before I continued writing on the content I`ve started on.
But I have something to continue to build on now, a website will always be a work-In-progress thing.
Looking forward to write more after some sleep..been sitting here 15hrs working and learning ( as I have done the last couple of days)
Agree, and appreciate your Input and taking the time! Will keep the "please comment" part In mind for my posts! Importent to get some Interaction on ur site.

Just took a quick look, indeed only black and white might be boring and your site can use an extra color of 2, but keep it nice and clean as it is...
1 Remark: Don't put 2 search buttons on your site: only 1 and only in the sidebar... (Just a best practice that I also learned here from a very experienced member) But that is the best you can do for your performance...

Yes, I will play around with some colours and see what I can come up with, I totally agree. I will do my best to keep It nice and clean.

I see you've changed your theme already. It looks much more appealing. More graphics in your posts will also make a huge difference.

yes I was working with It till 7 this morning:) the theme Is the same, I have only tweaked around with It In dashboard, and been looking at all the options that has to do with appearence.
I`m very happy to hear that It`s more appealing now!

I will try to get some graphics In there today (at least In a post or two) and see If I can find some good Ideas for something that shows on the front page-I agree!

just a detail, but do you think the posts appear more professional or "business like" If I hide the author of the posts(or post them as admin maybe)? maybe I should try to add the comment section below my posts as well...not sure what to do here yet, but not the most Importent at the moment:)..but It`s all a part of It..
