Hi - if you know of that style of dress as "boho" of "shabby chic" use the keyword tool to see if those terms have any traffic/competition.

I just did Shabby Chic Wedding - 4471 searches, and 761 traffic and 250 competing pages - put that into the keyword tool and see what the other suggestions are it comes up with around that term. I think you may have a pretty good niche.

Just looking at Shabby Chic Wedding - I don't know what you would sell/review in that niche - but as it's weddings, people pay a lot for almost everything - so if you could capture just a small percentage of the traffic, the potential earnings from them could be huge.

All the best,

Mark

Vintage bridesmaid dresses is obviously a niche. It is quite broad because you could break it down to a particular decade - say 50's or you could do a particular type eg flapper.... etc. Remember the chances are people have an idea of the type they want. You could always choose a brand name that didn't tie you down too specifically and then broaden later if you wanted to. :) Beverley

Try and think of your niche as the group of people you want to target a group of people that have a problem and are willing to pay for the solution
Your niche sounds good, but now you must get to know what your audience feels and thinks what do they want and what problems are you going to solve for them and how are you going to monetize this

Barry

I am with steveo on this lol, but I also think you have narrowed it down well... I like the vintage style, only have seen it once in pictures of my cousins wedding

I'm not very familiar with bridesmaid dresses......OK I'm not the least bit familiar with them. Sounds to me like you've narrowed it down pretty well though :)

Thanks Steve. Its nice to reaffirm my ideas.

I am curious to learn more about writing blogs and would like to know the guidelines for doing so on my WA account. I feel like I missed this or maybe haven't gone through the t

Just a suggestion. If your intention is to get rankings in google and traffic to your blog you may want to focus on a particular aspect of wedding fashion or a specific trend. The audience is huge and you will want to target something specific. Good luck!

I guess I wasn't understanding the difference between posting a blog on my WA account and on wordpress. But it's all starting to make sense now.

I would suggest checking the live webinars of Jay. Here's one link:
