For some reason on my website www.staceysebookreviewer.com the images that I have chosen to display under all-in-one SEO aren't loading when the facebook share buttons are push
Hey Stacey,
When I post things to Facebook, even direct links via the post box I never get an image show up either, it just shows text, perhaps it's a Facebook thing? Or maybe Facebook and Wordpress haven't been integrated? Or perhaps Facebook just doesn't like displaying website previews?
Also weird thing, Google+ sometimes doesn't display the first image on my post either, sometimes it will display the last or even the middle one for some reason?
Sorry this doesn't really answer your question, but at least you know your not alone!
Hello wonderful WA community!
I'm am slowly getting more and more frustrated because for the life of me I cannot figure out how to add images on my homepage for my posts.<
Most of my pictures are pics that I have taken myself, but I go to WP "add media", then "upload files" then open my external hard drive pick the picture, "open it" Most of the time it has loaded it.
Hope that helps.
I was just going to add 'featured image' when I scanned below and found many responses saying just that! Have a good day.
It is called your Featured Image. Here is how to set it and where it is in WordPress. Category, Tags and Featured Image
As Rob said, those are likely based on your Featured Images. You can edit this within every post down the right hand side under "Featured Image". See attached screenshot.
go into your post editor, scroll down and on the right you will see featured image, add a featured image then update the post
Hi Stacey, I'm not familiar with the theme. But what I did for mine is to search specifically: for your case, that would be "adding images in post ProMax theme" or "problem adding images in post ProMax theme", something like that.
And if this is a paid theme, check with the support team where you got it. You will definitely get help.
Or maybe somebody here in WA knows...

For example will it be viewed as repetition in my site? If so what is the alternative solution please
If you make a post page or category page in main menu, you can put post(s) there, their url will remain the same. See here about it:

Hello, if I have taken photos of iconic buildings and landmarks am I allowed to publish them on my website
Unfortunately it will not be the case in the near future in the EU - they are introducing all manner of things to restrict what we do over here.
Wow! That sucks for you guys over there. But that would only apply to iconic buildings there, right? Like Stacey could still use here WA profile picture with the Empire State Building in the background if she wanted to.
That appears to be so at the moment, we have to wait and see how this develops over here, the so called GURUS in Brussels are trying to rule every aspect of our lives and I am canvassing for us to get out of the EU - we have trading partners all over the world and there is a lot of scare-mongering on this subject.
I think a lot depends on where you took the photo and where you live, the powers to be in Europe (the EU) and working at the moment to stop anyone taking photos, even with landmarks in the background.
It really is a minefield as many famous buildingd have copyright even though up-to-date they have not taken anyone to task over these.
Another thought is that in general, no one in authority is likely to see your published photo but if your website becomes an authority site, I would check out the implications - john
Any photographs you take are yours to use any way you want. Except photos of people - you need to have their written permission. Buildings are fine. ~Marion
I know lol, but I think if you are the owner of the pictures you can use them. But let's wait and see that other people say ! I want to be sure as well =)
