Has anyone else had this happen to them? Today in particular! I just did a lot of work on my website and was taking information from

Tha's also why it's good to have your website backed up. Just in case something weird happens to your website.

Agreed!

Glad it worked out

Me too!

I was able to visit both of them

Thank you Wayne! Haven't had any trouble lately. Must have been Wordpress

I have not had this happen to me, glad you got it back maybe a cliche somewhere

Thankfully nothing like that has happened since!

I don't think any relation between those two.

That's a relief!

Happened to me last week. I was out for about 30 min. Not Google, just one of the cloud servers down for maintenance or some like it
John

Thank you!

Also, did you have a period before com? Your heading doesn't, so I just want to make sure that is not the reason. Just a minor thing but could make it not react....

Yeah I did.. I just copied and pasted from what google was telling me.

Well, they didn't put the dot in .com...... I think they ate too much chocolate.

Or maybe it was the little heart candies! ;)

Sites have been going up and down all day today.
Might have been a coincidence. :)

That's a relief to hear. yikes

You have just spent a great deal of time on housework now you are due for bit of a break. What do you do at this time?

Read the newspaper?

Daydream?

Do you ju

Great post! Thanks for the reminder to take a break! I tend to go full blast at it with no breaks!

Me too, Wayne! Writing this blog was my way of reminding myself! :)

I shared it on facebook ;-)

Hey Thank you! :)

I took a break. And I discover new ideas when I am not in the "clutters" of life.

http://timerichworryfree.com/blog

Give it a try. The outcome can be pleasantly surprising.
Good luck to all :)

That is a well written blog Cathy! I have several of my own photographs in my blog. During some of my Coffee Breaks I like to edit in my photoshop editor. I love the idea of drawing and creating your own pics to create original content on your website. I unfortunately can't find that sort of app on my phone, but when I see it I will know now how beneficial it can be. Good luck to you too! :)

Yes, we hold ourselves prisoner when we think we just have to write one more sentence -- BUT it won't even converge in our brain tissues! You are so right, sometimes just a quick break is helpful. Now, I fold laundry and watch TV for a minute when I am feeling burned out or stumped at the monitor. Weird, but I take care of 2 things at once! :) Nice post and thanks!!

Very true! Sometimes brains stall like cars. I love multi tasking, too! Folding laundry and watching t.v.... sounds like what I do, too. Thank you for reading!

Breaks outside are good especially when you're stuck or need inspiration. May sound strange, but it feel like they freshen your brain.

Oh that's not strange at all! It's like drinking a glass of freshly juiced carrots and apples! Now that's strange for those not used to it! :) But tasty! And makes your brain go AH!! :)

Thanks for the reminder fresh air is so important. I like your 5 senses Idea and I will try that on Monday. Nice blog.

Thank you bill! Let us know how it works out!

Your ideas are great and beneficial. There are days I never leave and never get any where because I am too focused. We need to get away and get out. I schedule the weekends to catch up on WA stuff and leave the weekdays for my websites. Thanks for sharing. Debbie

Thank you and your welcome, Debbie! I'm right with you there.. There are days when I never get outside either. The middle of January this year I realized I had only left my house 4 times since Christmas! And that wasn't because I was agoraphobic or anything. It's because I was so busy in the house, the winter weather was bad, or my husband had the vehicle. I've gotten out of that habit now, but I noticed this business was threatening to pull me back into that habit. I'm glad I could share what I have to do to stay healthy and focused and love to hear other's ideas.

Hello Everyone!

This is a topic that has been on my mind for the better part of the day. Ways to adjust your normal schedule to fit your new business.

When I say I understand, I do. At one time, I was a single parent of 3, had a full time as well as a part time job (able to do at home) and was trying to finish my BS w/ 3 classes/semester. I scheduled time at night when everyone had gone to bed. The kids were in bed by 9 (a rule). So, hang in there. Eat healthy - it sounds like you're getting enough exercise. It does get better.

I can relate to the single mother part 100%... Single mother of 4 before I met my new hubby. Bless his heart. Thanks for the encouragement. I want to encourage everyone else who sees this discussion to join in and tell the community how you adjust your schedule to fit in your business. With or without kids!

I write in the early hours of the morning when it's quiet. And yes I do think it's important to schedule.
