I have an affiliate program that want's me to add code to my home page has anyone ever heard of this before. If someone has is there a training video or something on how to do this
You can do this by going to your html of the page. That's on the "text" button of your editing page. Before you go there, put a series of X's - ie -xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx - in your "Visual" so that you can easily find the spot in the code. Then go to the html, find the X's, delete them and paste the vefification code there. Be sure to copy and paste. Don't try to manually type in the code. There are other ways, but that's the way I would do it. Be careful. Be sure the code doesn't get altered as you do this. You only want to ad the new code without changing what is already there.

I not sure what happened but all of a sudden my picture on my social sits wont show up. I have social feather plugin and they say it is working fine but it does not has anyone had
I haven't yet trying to get back to everyone and still get my pages done I am going to tackle it tonight. Thank you for staying in touch with me though I really appreciate it.

Yes I think I finally got it sorted, So cool of you to follow up with me on this. I had to deactivate my Jetpack plugin It did a lot for my site but also took a lot. Not to mention it seems to conflict with social feather. Anyway so cool of you Gus I hope you have a great weekend and if you ever need anything, even if I don't already no the answer I will bust my tale to help you figure it out.
I am glad you did it! I was trying to think of something additional to the troubleshooting our other fellow members advised you to check, but it wasn't possible to find something. The good thing is that you solved it out!

If you keep having problems I would check with one of the other social plug ins. I was struggling with some issues and even changed themes on one site which turned out to be a better match so was good.

Not really as I have to try and test. I have 3 sites going and worked on one seems to not work on another so I am not very good at recommending one. Maybe someone else here could as there are many who know much more about this!
And if it is the plugin there are several social plugins to choose from . I am using the add-to-any social plugin for wp. Just google it, it is a free download.

A lot of times this has to do with the size of the images. Try to share manually, and see if it works. If it does, then the issue might be the plugin.
You can try another plugin, or make sure to set a featured image, and see if that works as well.
If all else fails, you can go to the social site, share an image, then just include your link in the description (as an alternative, if you really want that image in there)
Okay thank you Nathaniel it must be the plug in then because I am able to do it manually. I have to check that featured image setting I did not know I could do that. Thank you for getting back to me, much appreciation I was up last night for a couple hours screwing around with this.

Copy the html embed code that pops up, and then paste it into your page or post, in your text editor - it won't take in your visual editor. Then you can also size it, by clicking on it (in visual editor) and grabbing a corner and dragging it in or out to the size you want.
You will only see a gray box in your visual editor, so do a page or post preview to see how the video will actually look before you publish.
