I was just wandering can anyone tell me the pros or cons of having a domain as opposed to a free website. Also if I purchase the domain do I own it or does WA?
Your own domain is yours no one can take it off you. You also have control of what you publish, a free site can change the goal posts and your income is lost . Also if you own your own domain it is real estate you own it

.com websites historically rank better than .org, .net, siterubix.com, wix.com etc. websites.
The $14 per year with security included from https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/domains is well worth the purchase.
You would own the website and the free hosting by WA would be as long as you remain a Premium member.
If you ever choose to leave you would need to find hosting elsewhere.
If you are like me then you never plan to leave as WA is the best place to grow our businesses.

Thanks yes it does. On a different topic when choosing my domain name should I check the QSR to see what my competition. Should I find something with or without competition.
I would recommend using the Jaaxy Keyword Tool first and find one within your Niche that is appropriate Deryl.

Another thing to consider is that website.com sounds more official than website.siterubix.com. People take it more seriously and it sounds more reliable.
