Hey everyone, I didn't in which classroom to ask this question so I chose the wealthy affiliate platform..

So, my question is: How can I add hyperlinks to my referral's

That’s right, there’s no option to make a phrase as an anchor text that will turn into a hyperlink. All you can do is paste the raw link as it is and it will become clickable as it posted like Barry has said.

How to write quality posts is very simple as a drink of water

In my experience, when I add a link to a comment, it automagically becomes a clickable link when you publish. I would be willing to bet the same thing will happen in your request.

How to write qualitative messages for our referrals?

I have a serious question here regarding to writing. I was wondering what should I focus more on:
- More small articles (with 1,000 - 1,500 words)
- Or more on long artic

I prefer things in brief but yet every important fact in it. I like if there is a link to further studies.

Writing longer articles makes them easier for ranking on Google. However just because they are longer if they're not a value or good it won't benefit you. I would write from the heart and I would try to relate directly to your audience. Let them get to know you and want to visit your blog over and over. Good luck and blessings to you.

Let me ask you a question - Do your readers care how long the articles are

Answer = No

So here is what to focus on

Do your articles solve problems and add value

Are they easy to understand

Are they simple

Focus on these things and you will be fine

I would mix it.

It depends what you are aiming for - you bore the pants of people before you k ow it so this is what I suggest -'
Install SumoMe and use the page analyzer function t see how many people read you page
If it starts with 200 but after 25.% it had gone down to 100 and after 50% it is down to 20 then it is not working

I write 750 to 1250 words and that is more than enough

Thank you very much Paul :)

You are welcome

Hi Alexey, you should ask your audience this question. Personally I prefer short blogs. irv.

The most important issue in a blog or article is to add value to your readers. What message are you sending out there? If you pick a topic, it is better to exhaust all the necessary information on the topic. This cannot be done by counting words my dear. Take a read yourself, and put yourself in position of your readers, are you adding value, are you teaching something? If you are searching or researching for the topic online, will what you put out satisfy your readers. Having a website to be proud of, you will have to take that in mind. All others take secondary position, but which will eventually 'add all others' for you. And I am sure if you are in your passion, and doing something you love, you will want to do much more. An average of 1500 - 2000 words is popular with most articles though. All the best to you always.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated :)
So I assume that I'm doing just fine by now!
And also, another idea came to my mind - I can write every 3-4 "short posts" a long one - Talking about a broader topic (resource article with lots of internal and external links) to balance both!

Thanks for asking this question, I have been kinda wondering the same thing, I'll be watching for responses :)

My question is a lot simpler that it sounds. I only need to know what my permalinks should be set as, in wordpress.

In wordpress -- Dashboard -- Settings -- Permalinks.<

Best SEO practice suggests using page/ post name in the permalink.

Hi, not sure about this. Irv.

Ok guys, thanks a lot!

Hi Alexey,

I've tried and tested a few of my pages over the past months, and I think the guys here are right. When the keyword is in the post name (title), and the post name is the permalink, my pages are ranked in Google a lot better.

I was really confident with an article I'd written and was disappointed to see the search engine results. All the elements were there (great keywords, images etc etc) except that the title and permalink didn't match. I changed the permalink and re-submitted to Google and the next day it appeared straight in page 1...

DO NOT change any thing that you have done -
For all new posts /pages set it to post name -

Hey guys, I need help with my xml sitemap inside google webmaster tools.
There is a big difference between the submitted URL's (the blue line) and the indexed ones (the red

Some webpages in your website should never be indexed, pages like your privacy policy, terms and conditions, affiliate disclosure and similar pages because the content in those pages are not really unique. Most other websites would have similar content.

In order to prevent some webpages from being indexed, you can use the 'no index' and 'no follow' instructions. If you are using AIO SEO, these are usually displayed when editing the post/page (way at the bottom of the edit post/page).

It is also possible that Google has looked at your non indexed pages and did not find what it 'thinks' is good unique content and so did not bother to index those pages.

There is also a potential time thing at play as well. I heard that there can be a 6 month to 1 year time gap. The suggestion here is to keep adding unique quality content on a regular basis.

I carefully pick my keywords and write content with them all the time. And still, I didn't get to the first page with any one of them although I aim for less than 80 QSR.

Find as low a QSR as possible and don't forget to do a google search on your competition.

Say you find a keyword with a low QSR of around 20 or so. Do a search and see who those 20 are.

Then ask yourself if you can beat them. If not, go find another keyword.

The actual quality of your content plays a huge factor as well. You won't beat anyone with bad content. So make sure yours is better than theirs, or at least as good as theirs.

As your site ages, it will come up through the ranks on some of your other higher QSR keywords as long as your content is quality stuff.

Building site trust works a lot on association. coherence and co-citation. There are ways to force this to happen..

by doing certain things I was able to bring a twitter account from scratch which had a trust flow of zero up to 38 within 6 months... All white hat methods too

Go to as low QSR as possible. Ideally = 0, only then you might be sure to have some ranking. 80 is too high for me, I stay

I agree with Jovo. Try to find lower QSR versions of those keywords. Definitely under 50, but the lower the better. If you have a choice between several similar keywords, choose the one with lower QSR.

Sometimes it takes time for Google to view you as an authority or have trust in you.

How broad is your niche? Have you analyzed the competition using the Mozbar? Maybe the competition is very strong for the top pages of google?. How old is your site etc?

I am in the affiliate bootcamp niche,
site is 3 months old...
Haven't analyzed the competition with Mozbar..

Josh, can you say more about this issue of broad niche. I have never understood the concept. When you have one particular keyword, this is it - your competitors are only those with the same or similar keyword. Why does it matter how broad a niche is?

Here is example: backpacking packs vs mountaineering equipment. So the former is narrow the latter is wide. Imagine I have sites in both, and posts in both. Why should I be more successful with the former? In the latter we have tents, shoes, ropes, and tens other products, but only what matters are texts about packs. Other mentioned keywords are not my competitors.

I am not questioning you, I am trying to understand.

This is how I see it.... If both the sites are still rather young and haven't gained much authority and you write a post called "the best double stitched backpacks for backpacking". Your backpacks site has 30 posts just on backpacks, while your mountaineering site has 30 posts on various products with only 3 backpacks on the site. In webmaster tools you can see how many times or % of what your main words used on that site. So Google can tell your site is about backpacks predominantly compared to say 'mountaineering' for the other site. This tells me that Google knows the backpacking site specializes in backpacks and would consider it a authority in the subject over mountaineering.

So as google thinks the backpacking site is an authority (or soon to be) in the niche, it holds some favoritism for it. Plus all the relevant 'backpack' internal linking would be good signals as well.

Obviously if the mountaineering site went on to become a massive authority in many sub niches than it would be tougher to beat. This is why Jay etc say to start very micro niche and build outwards. Give yourself the chance to rank and become and authority in one section before taking on everything at once. All the other factors have to be done as well.

That's just how my brain interprets it anyway.

I think your brain interprets it nicely. I needed such a summary.

There may be problem to go broad once you start narrow, I mean if the domain name is chosen narrow. In this particular example this would be difficult.
Many thanks.

Makes a lot of sense.

Jovo, may this be a workaround- if you chose a broader niche keyword for your domain name and include your narrower keyword in the description (mountaineering equipment - backpacking packs?).

Yes this might work. I am not having such an issue at the moment, it was just a curiosity.
