Yes, remove all plugins and then add the Google plug-in, if it still gives that message, it is a theme issue. Then, add your plug-ins back to your site one by one to find out which one it is incompatible with.

Just highlight the code, copy it (right click, copy or ctrl+c) then paste it into your wordpress theme's widget area, either on the sidebar or footer in most cases. They can also be placed in the code of the page or in the article.

I have always used sitemaps on my sites. Found the whole process frustrating and time consuming.

I did my research and found an automated way to get both xml and html sitemaps on my sites. It's automatic so now I don't have to be involved with map creation. When I make a page or post then the sitemaps immediately are updated including hyperlinks.

I'm using 2 plug ins which work extremely well.

First is Yoast SEO. This plug in guides the meta tag process and tells you if you are screwing up and how to correct it. I don't want to use an automatic meta tags generator. I want full control and this plug in does that. In addition, the plug in automatically generates the xml sitemap.

Second is WP SEO HTML Sitemap by Daniel Chase. This plug in works in conjunction with Yoast SEO and automatically creates the html sitemap which displays on any page you want. Just insert the short code. It also includes a link to the xml sitemap should you ever need to access the xml map.

Both plug ins are easy to install and set up.

sitemap.xml is ONLY for Google Webmaster Tool. What exactly is it you want to establish?

If you want to display a 'sitemap' on your site, you will have to create it and add the links manually.

Your premium member; do they still show up in your referrals area? The reason why I am asking is because I have a similar situation. I have had a referral that went premium for two months and now I am not getting paid from her and I do not see her in my referrals neither.

You'll only receive a recurring payment if the referral continues to pay their subscription as a Premium member. If they leave then they are still listed as 'Premium' until (and if) they choose to come back.

How to use GooglePing? Go to Googleping.com and get the promotional code... you may have to scroll down to the bottom to find it. Copy the code, go back to your dashboard and under "widgets" put it in your sidebar. It will show up on every blog. Then start pinging them to GooglePing (I'm not sure it is on auto if it is in your sidebar. Don't count on that -- I bookmarked the site and use it with every blog).

It will come, keep going!

Try to write content at least Mon-Fri, then use GooglePing to send it across the Internet so it gets wide attraction. When you have 4-5 weeks worth, you can cut back like Mon-Wed-Fri.... this tidbit is to help you, hope it isn't too discouraging ;-)
