OMMFG!!!!
Apparently a little hard work and a whole lot of consistantcy really pays off!
I just wanted to share with you all something delightfully strange that happened to me today.
I was on the computer( as I still am and will be for a few more hours), writing a couple articles and playing around with a Squidoo lens, when I decided to check my email. I discovered that my SA following had increased by five since yesterday, but that wasn't the strange part, even though that was AMAZING!
Learning that I had a few more follwers led me to the Street Articles site to not only check my stats, but also to check out what these new follwers were up to. I follow a number of them already.
Well, I was happy to find that my stats and click throughs had indeed gone up, but not in parrallel to the amount of new followers. I initially went to SA earlier in the morning, around 10am or so in the Chicagoland area. Within the last hour, 1pm or so, I noticed a MASSIVE explosion in traffic and click throughs. And I mean MASSIVE! For me at least.
Last night, I remember thinking, ' I'd really like to reach 700 article views by tommorrow'. I was at around 680 or so and just had an article published yesterday. I figured it was not only possible, but also pretty reasonable. When I first checked this morning I had reached that goal.
Just recently I found that not only had my article vews gone up by more than 100 but my click through rate had more than doubled! One article raked up more click throughs in a single day than all of my other articles since joining SA combined! OMMFG!!!
I wish I could include a moral or somethin' to this story, but my head is still spinning. I don't know what happened or what I did different today or yesterday. I just wanted to share that little bit of success with my WA family.

Has anyone heard of Readability.com, because apparently someone posted my article to that site and it wasn't me. I'm glad they did because it provides an unexpected additional backlink for me, but it's kinda wierd seeing my work posted somewhere that I didn't put it. But I'm not complaining. :-D

I did pin quite a few articles this morning to my social networks. They have been known to get views in the 100 area daily at first. Might have posted one of yours, what is your name at SA?
I do not know if i might have spread your article around, but someone probably did. Feels great right?
How this will translate into green is what everyone is really going to be interested in. Yes, getting read is an ego boost for us writers, but money is what will allow our writing on the Internet to continue.

That's true, Christian. I'll be honest with you, the article that's getting all the click throughs isn't associated to an affiliate product. But, if you can get traffic to a non affiliate product, you can get it to an affiliate product.
