Nov 6th-13th, Hashimoto's Summit by Isabella Wentz

Content, Commissions, Connection, Opportunity Knocks for You!

There are always some nuggets and tons of content opportunities for anyone in the health niche with an event like this, even though personally the speaker and topic schedule on this one doesn't grab me. I just made $138 on the parasite summit last month, so there is a big affiliate commission pie for you to sink your teeth into, and $138 are just the crumbs from that pie!

I've displayed the calendar and affiliate center for these type of events on another WA blog https://my.wealthyaffiliate.co... and update it frequently, as the launch for these events is a couple of months before the actual dates most of the time. It is a first cookie gets it basis so you are given plenty of time to advertise on your website or to your email list. You can still get commissions at the last minute too and the event will also be on sale throughout the year afterwards.

These events are streamed for free for usually 24 hours, with an encore at the end. So you never have to buy anything, the investment is your time. But people interested in the subject, ie patients working on their health or researchers or practitioners, they often buy the summit packages with digital access to view later and that is where you make your commissions.

Don't Forget the Book, That's Another Affiliate Opportunity!

Also remember that there is a good opportunity to promote books with these events, as each speaker is also generally an author too. I've posted about a good book affiliate program that is also an alternative to amazon, here:

Will The Real Thyroid Expert Please Stand Up?

Wentz is a pharmacist trained in functional medicine, she reversed her own thyroid condition so now she's on a mission to 'help' others, however online marketing and Brendon Burchard-type positioning makes her perhaps a little stronger in appearance than maybe she is. For example David Brownstein is another thyroid expert, and they both have polar opposite views on iodine - he would be much more in keeping with the older naturopathic views like Dr. Christopher. Yet when it comes to an honest debate between Brownstein and Wentz I haven't been convinced by the way Wentz brushes him off - and I've heard a lot more to support the iodine supplementation than against it, even within other functional medicine circles.

SO, while all of these health experts will actually help people with their thyroid and not see them inevitably resigned to a life of medicated deterioration with big pharma, as it turns out you with your blog site could be the real expert here and be in a position to offer your audience some guidance if you live and breathe your niche.

Also in terms of 'which diet' you'll have a field day for content, as you know some are paleo while others are keto, and yet others are vegetarian or Mediterranean...again, plenty of room for your input via your website especially when these summits tend to invite their own friends with similar views to speak on the summits, so people get a real biased view most of the time, until the next summit comes along and says the opposite!

Adrenal Summit Also This Week, But No Affiliate Program!?

As far as I can tell the Adrenal Summit with Alan Christianson [student of Brendon Burchard!] is not open to regular affiliates [there have been an increasing amount of these this year], if you are in WA Bootcamp then you should know BB and how he tends to like his JV's [joint venture partners] to have humongous traffic and email lists equivalent to his own - however, again, we can do much to change this internet landscape and thankfully not all programs are going that direction. More on those 'doctorpreneurs' later!

Your Turn!

So there you have it folks, thyroid and adrenals are trending this week, happy content and commission hunting! :)

Good afternoon Mary,

My anti-aging doc also likes some extra iodine, that is why I take it every morning.
I also get the info on all these Summits etc, but it gets a bit much in the long run.
I have promoted various things on my websites but no commission yet.

Greetings from the south of Spain, Taetske

Hi Taetske, there certainly are a lot of them. I'm a lot more selective what I listen to at the moment, I've caught almost all the talks for the last 3 years but find courses take this info up a whole other level...

to me they are just a tool and opportunity...

This is a great idea to share things like this for those interested in the health niche.

I love the cat photograph that you are using for you profile picture. The photographer did a great job in so many ways....

Thanks Sondra, yep the cat is a nice and applicable optical illusion for this platform :)

Hi Mary, a very interesting share. Irv.

Thank you Irv, best wishes :)

Thanks for this useful information, Mary.

you're welcome Kav, best wishes :)

Thanks for the share. I appreciate the information

Welcome, Lorrie! :)

I've got all this on my list, Mary! Thanks for sharing as usual. My next project on my site is to smoothly incorporate this sort of information to it! Books are definitely on my list to add! I've read a lot more about the iodine supps. being beneficial for folks as well. A fair amount of the summits are hard to get through and don't offer a lot of substance that I can appreciate, but some are pretty good (out of what I have watched so far).

Nice to hear your progress Cindy! :)

Totally agree, there's a lot of people attending left confused and still needing help after those speakers, that's an opportunity for good bloggers.

And some of the speakers really waste our time too, for example in the Adrenal summit I wouldn't bother with Tom O'Bryan [unless you want to expose his hardline on gluten] or Michael Breus, but some good ones to watch for are cardiologists Joel Kahn and Steven Masley [polar opposites in diet but both can clean plaque off arteries without meds], Datis Kharrazian...

but even one speaker out of 30 is one extra blog post :)

Ahh! I will put the cardio Docs on my list for sure!

Yes, you can find some jewels in the mix I have discovered. Some of its really good stuff!

I have Wentz book and it has helped me enormously :) thanks Mary

That's interesting Carol, it's on my to-read list! :)

Thanks for sharing Mary. Always appreciate. :)

Thank you Norleila, best wishes! :)

Thanks nice reading.

Thanks Nick, best wishes :)

Thanks for the information Mary!

Best wishes Anita! :)

Same to you! In case I miss it, could you let me know if a headache or migraine summit comes up? I'll be looking,. I just don't want to miss it!

ooh yes, there have been some of those - they will be round again next year, I'll try to dig one out as some of them can be evergreen...

Thank you so much!
