Affiliate Marketing Calendar, The Father's Day Opportunity and Beyond

Online marketing across the niches has an annual calendar, for example today is Father's Day, it's like mini-Christmas out there, people buzzing with happiness, greetings, excitement, memories, special meals, and presents. All of this spells OPPORTUNITY to anyone running an affiliate website:

• People looking for help choosing a present - there's a guidance blog for that
• People wanting a review on a potential gift purchase - there's a review blog for that
• People buying lots of presents for a wide variety of dads - there's affiliate programs for that
• Want some recipes for a special meal or treat - there's a blog for that
• Want some alternative healthy ingredients for sensitivities and health conditions, there's a blog for that

You get where I'm going with this - content, original content opportunities, authority, rank, traffic, and even sales...it's all good if you see these days coming and prepare in advance for them.

Question 1: When do you think would have been a good time to start talking about Father's Day on your blog?

Question 2: What occasion is up next, are you aware, can you apply it to your niche, have you thought about content, promotions, affiliate programs, and timing?

All these occasions are great opportunities for bloggers and online and affiliate marketers both in terms of their business and because they also are time for a party. When I was young I thought all these marketing opportunities were just false and we ignored them. Now I realize whenever life offers an opportunity for a party or celebration then let's take it! Showering dads with well earned treats and gifts even just for one day is fun for everyone, seeing the look on their face as they try to figure out just what on earth it is you've given them is the whole santa thing in reverse LOL! My dad had a triple bypass earlier this year, a very scary time, so this Father's Day was extra special.

- Thanks to all the members in Wealthy Affiliate who shared their stories and excitement and memories and recipes and the whole buzz that goes with this day and the fun when lots of people celebrate it together.

- A big shout out to all the fathers, this is your special day.

- A big shout out to Kyle and Carson, who little did they know that when they set up a platform attracting over 800,000 people in training they'd also be like fathers to them at times.

- And a big shout out to all you guys in here who show us all your helpful and caring side going above and beyond what anyone would expect as you rush in to help us out with even the little things as we grow in this business and adventures, we lean on your fatherly nature too :)

Homework: draw out your online affiliate marketing calendar from June through the rest of the months of 2017 and into 2018 and see how your content and programs come into focus :)
