I need 3 Amazon sales
The Dreaded Amazon email.
Hi wonderful folks within the Wealthy Affiliate community.
This message is for all you newbies.
Can anyone please help me with this issue I need solving ASAP.
I have received an email saying my Amazon affiliate account will be shut down temporarily until I have made 3 sales.
I have been here at WA for 5 months working hard to make this work. Receiving this email has shocked me.
Is there anyone who could help me with trading sales on our websites? I am not sure if this is allowed or anyone has done this sort of thing before. Any help or advice very welcome.
Be warned.
When you sign up to Amazon you have 180 days to make 3 sales.
Building a website and a successful business takes time, effort and patience.
Traffic to your website needs time to build up.
Lessons to learn from my mistakes:
1:Don’t sign up to Amazon to soon. We all think “I will start and the sales will roll as easy as anything”.
You need to build up trust with people visiting your site before they move to next stage.
2:Sign up to more than one Affiliate program. Then if you do get this type of email it’s not such a blow to you and your website.
It’s in the training here at WA. They tell us what to do for this exact reason.Just follow the training.
3. Having links to many different affiliate sites means you won’t have to change all you links in your blog posts if this sort of thing happens.
It’s hard work and a waste of your precious time
Slow down and take it in a bit more.
I wish I had really listened and took what was being said In a bit more.
Who knew it was so important to do this? Definitely not me being a newbie and not really knowing what I was doing.
Everyday is a learning day here at WA 😀
Has anyone else has a similar email to this? What did you do about it?

Sorry to hear that you got one of those dreaded emails Matthew. I myself has been unable to sign up with Amazon because I had a previous account and attempted to establish a new one. To date I have been unable to find out how to recover the old account. That's what I am supposed to do.
I don't think however, that members of WA are allowed to give you the kind of support you are requesting here. If I recall correctly, it can result in those members having their Amazon account cancelled.
I hope you'll be able to make those sales soon though.

I like your idea, and I have seen it done here before. I would like to see if we can help each other out as well. I have not received the warning email yet, but i'm sure it will be coming soon. I haven't made any sales yet and wouldn't mind helping. How can we do this?
Hi I have made 3 sales now.received them just after I wrote blog. Sorry I can’t help you out now. I would wait until you receive the letter or email and then write yourself a blog like mine and plenty within wealthy affilate will help you.

I had my account on amazon for over 10 years so I must have been grandfathered in lol. Motly if you want to trade links send me a pm and I will do that for you.

Very interesting post. Thank you! I am sure you are going to find at least 3 friends, acquaintances, family members or WA members who can spend a few dollars or euros on Amazon. The sales don't have to be expensive, right? Would an ebook even do for one sale? These can be bought for 0.99 cents. :-)

There are so many better affiliate programs than Amazon. Too many rules and too little commissions for all the headaches.
