Get Out Of My Comfort Zone.
Getting out of your Comfort Zone is not easy, but can be really worth it. I have learned that one of my greatest assets is my Free Time. Time is one of the things that we cannot get back. It's like working lot of hours and not getting enough sleep and saying " I plan to catch up on some sleep this weekend". I used to say that from time to time until I really took a look at that statement and determined that I can't catch up on sleep. I can only get more sleep moving forward. There are some hard facts I need to embrace if I am going to get out of my comfort zone.
Fact #1- I have the same 24 hours per day like everyone else.
Fact#2- I must get some rest during that 24 hour period.
Fact#3- If commit to a task or a block of time I must stick to it.
I have read that it can take anywhere from 21 days to three months to break a habit. My question is if I break an old habit what new habits will I create.? My top motivation for
breaking a habit is directly associated with some discomfort/pain that I am experiencing with my life. Somehow it seems that I have become comfortable with being comfortable. This can never be good for me unless I can honestly say I am in Perfect Health, I have enough wealth to last for generations and I have helped others accomplish similar goals as well. I hope I never become comfortable with being comfortable. Always working to get better, and helping others who want to, get better as well.

I agree getting out of my comfort zone was not easy. I knew it had to be done but I would just get more and more miserable living life the way I did. Getting out of my comfort zone was a step towards living a happier life.
A good motivator for yourself and others! Good for you, never stop growing, always strive for something more.

I've come to realize that what I consider my Comfort Zone is really not that comfortable.
I think many of us know what our "assignment" is in life; but when we don't take the steps to "complete" our assignment, there's something that sets in that makes us uncomfortable. We may not speak on it, but I believe it's there.
I think I'll remove "I have to catch up on sleep" from my regular conversation now...I said it too many times.
Great post, Tony!
