When it comes to building any kind of business be it online or offline we tend to want fast results and we tend to see no results with small actions. Truth of the matter is that if we take a small action … It must somehow have an affect … We may not see the affect immediately and others times we may never notice it but it’s there.
If we are to have a target that we want to achieve then we must have smaller targets to achieve that big target. Let’s suppose that we want to help some 100 people to get out of poverty … Then our small target for that big target is to start with the 1st person and then the 2nd which makes both be smaller targets. Now if we apply the same example to building an online business … What we have to think about is the big target and then how to cut it down into small actionable steps.
Sometimes we think too much about whether the small steps could have any difference; such as the first 10 tweets on Twitter and the first 10 posts on our facebook walls or typing that first blog or even just commenting on someone else tweet. If we see all those small actions being as small targets to the big target we get momentum to do more.
The more small actions that you take the more results you will see over time. Take small actions even if you feel they have no effect and just for you to see how massive it will turn out to be … At the end of the month reflect on what actions you took and you will be amazed by what you have done … You might even laugh at yourself … like when you see at the end of the month that you typed some 200 useful tweets or that you shared with people so much useful info during a short time period.
