YouTube Scams
Like any social media, YouTube scams are very common. I have listed few here to be aware of.
Fake Threatening emails:
Google or YouTube scam email about your video that it has repeatedly violated community guidelines and threatens with account suspension.
YouTube Music Key:
If you have Google play all access subscription then you have free access to music key. Some people have been tricked into paying for both.
Abuse and Pranks:
Pretend abuse or fake abuse or pranks are very common which are usually associated with malicious contents.
Video Spam:
These are mainly unwarranted and repetitive videos and messages.
Fake Traffic spam:
Making huge number of reviews, likes and comments to hike traffic to one’s channels and videos is common practice.
Misleading thumbnails:
Misleading thumbnails which contain obscene contents or nudity to lure.

I encountered one a couple months ago about strange noises from nature happening suddenly all around the globe.
Turned up, there was some pretty expensive instrumentation and recording equipment involved....!
