Am I required to pay something now or have I gone beyond my means. I really need help.
No Wordpress does not ask for payments. Here at Wealthy affiliate you are required to upgrade to premium. After that is done, you have free membership to build your website and no payment is required again till you are ready to buy a domain name.

Yes Thanx I believe I got off track on the set up? I am confused as to what is open and OMG my computer froze and I have windows open that were already complete. IDK what to do now LOL

I advise you start all over again and this time around go slowly with the setup. I can't see your dashboard, so I can't really figure out what you passing through.

Sounds good. Calling it for now. I have never been on my computer this long ever. It is flipping out. LOL have a nice evening
If you want a premium account with 100% access to all training, free web hosting for 50 sites then you'll need to pay yes. As a starter member you have 2 free sites, and as premium 50, all you have to pay after that is a domain name (www.domainname.com)
As of March 16th 2020 the number of domains has been reduced to10 (any kind) and one SiteRubix for starter members.
