I'm excited about what I see here on Wealthy Affiliate. Like anyone, I have my doubts about internet success stories. I'm curious about other's success here. One of my goals in

Have you checked the "success" tab in your activity dashboard? https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/home

You can also check out my profile for something about my story and this member recently posted this blog post https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/ramccracken/blog/what-wa-has-done-for-me-in-the-first-6-months-and-how-to-make-it-work

This member also just started his own business with WA training https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/domw/blog/going-professional

And there are countless more!

I think everyone's scared, confused, and overwelmed in the beginning; scared it's not gonna turn a profit, confused by the terms, and overwelmed by how much there is to learn. I feel this is a good thing since I have a lot of free time but I'm anxious to turn a profit even though it will take at least 2 months of learning and hard work.

I'm full time and would not of done it without WA, I do Local Seo for Bricks and Mortar business ie; Plumber, Dentist, builder etc. You will find the majority of the members start this while holding down a job. That's the beauty of it, although it is hard work you can slowly build a business which will overtake your day job. Wa has been online since 2005 so they must be doing something right.

Good point! Thanks. Good to know there's potential here.

Correction to my post; Site has been up and running since Sept of 2012.

My website has been up and running since Sept 2013. I still have a full time job. Most of my free time is spent building this business. I came into this with my eyes wide open. This is a business like any other business and I knew it would take time. My traffic continues to grow as do my sales but I am not yet ready to go full time. Also, my niche is very competitive so it may take me longer than somebody else.

Thanks for your response. I've decided on a niche that I want to go with. I think I will have a market for it. I'm willing to spend the time working on it if it is worth the time. I just don't want to pour so much into it and not get results. I know I will have to work on this in my spare time to get results. I probably should be more optimistic, right?
