Hi eveyone,

This is pretty well the query that I had with the support team and they haven't been able to get an answer for me. So I am truning to the community to see if anyone has had encounters with the same problem on the their platform.

Page from another site

Support SSL Certificates

Good Day,On my weather page I have several other pages being brought up on that particular page. I have a problem with one particular page that gives me a "HTTP Error 404. The page requested resource is not found". Just wondering if there is a way the get a non HTTPS page to work in a HTTPS page? The print screen that I sent is from the french version of the site but the same is on the english side.

https://romeosmarine.com/fr/boat-lifts/marine-weather/#.W-T3mFOJKUnThere is only one page that doesn't want to show !

The link below I did a test to see what or where the problem might be

I did install a plugin to try to get the page to work right but it doesn't seem to work :

This information comes from the debug page of the "Really Simple SSL" plugin :

The page that I am trying to get to display on my site is : http://tides-marees.gc.ca/fra/station?sid=1805 ... that site is not SSL but the my page is SSL. Just wondering how to get it to display on my page's website?

Since there page is not SSL, there page displays tides and currents from the Government of Canada's Fisheries and Oceans Canada ... I'm trying to get it to display on my website ... wondering if it is possible to do that since their page is not SSL ... because all the other pages from the Government are being displayed on my page's website?

If you click directly on http://tides-marees.gc.ca/fra/station?sid=1805their page will come up (just not an SSL page)

I am trying to make that page show on my page, and not to have them click on a link to send them elsewhere. I am trying to keep everything on the same page.

This is the code that I used on my page : <div align="center"><b>PRÉVISIONS DES MARÉES DE PÊCHES ET OCÉANS CANADA :</b><div align="center"><iframe src="http://tides-marees.gc.ca/fra/station?sid=1805" name="DFO-Tides" width="99%" height="1050px" frameborder="0" scrolling="auto" align="center">Please download a browser that supports iframes.</iframe></div></div>

All the other pages (these pages are all government website, Environment Canada - DFO) that are on my page (on my website) show up. The tide page is the only one that I am having a hard time with. My question is, is it because my website has ssl and that site or page (from that site) does not have ssl? Is there a way I can get it to work just the same? I installed "Really Simple SSL" plugin (it said that it is a "Mixed content fixer") to try to make it work but it doesn't seem to do anything.Thank you for your time on the matter ...

Michel

Yes I agree ask site support, they will fix this in a few minutes.

Would it solve the problem when you make a pretty link from the http site?
then the link becomes https://romeosmarine.com/tides-marees

The problem that I am facing is that I would like them to be able to view everything on the same page and not have them redirected to another page ...

Have you tried the pretty link option?

Like I said previously I don't want them link to another site I would rather keep them on my site ....

Would this be a solution?

That wouldn't work because the page that I am trying to post on my page changes every day ... so with a PDF I would have to check the site every day to get it to up date ...

Just found my answer ... it can not be done : https://blog.mozilla.org/tanvi/2013/04/10/mixed-content-blocking-enabled-in-firefox-23/ ... I'm going to have to do it as a link ... the mix doesn't go well together ... thank you very much for all you suggestions and help ... cheers ... Michel
