Wealthy Affiliate why?
Ever wonder why there's an optimist club and no pessimist club? Simple! No sane person (and we can assume we're in the majority folks) is going to champion what isn't beneficial!
If we were promoting harmful effects we'd be arrested. Much worse we'd be taken to court. In Wealthy Affiliate we'd be banned from publishing!
Self effacing humor is self defeating humor. That's no way to conduct a marketing campaign. If you can't promote yourself you'll have problems promoting any brand under your name much less a product or service!
Ranting is allowed here as it's beneficial to vent frustrations in the proper forum. But I dare say some are turned off and if too much of it occurs one risks a takedown.
I don't think the title "affiliate humor" was considered when the community was named but it is a fortuitous choice. This "quadrant 2" characteristic is clearly the most positive winner!
It's no joke this is the best friending, learning and task constructive community on the planet. It's great to see it keeping on this way!

I definitely agree with you Michael. I guess everything in the universe has its opposite, like up and down, front and back and in this case positive and negative. My hope is that all the people learn to adapt a positive attitude always so negativity doesn't win.
It's a learning process.

I think there is a pessimist club...they just don't see the point in advertising or meeting!
