If involved in a passionate tie and someone says lets just be friends. They are really saying lets end our association. The effects will work out that way inevitably!

Not so sure about that, Mike. My former fiance and I are still good friends. That might be the exception rather than the rule, though.
It is hard to be 'just friends' when one has had a passionate involvement with another. Best to move on and let the heart heal.
I think that is true if both people don't feel the same.....but if they both have truly moved on...I think a friendship is possible.
I've always found that to be true. (Although, I've known a few couples who call one another whenever they're facing great fear.)
