Line of business (LOB) is a general term which refers to a product or a group of related products that serve a customer's transaction or business need. In some industry areas, like risk management and insurance. This is very effective.
Innovative data is increasing in quantum leaps and shows unstoppable persistence..The day of the mainframe computer is long gone. Big data is handled in aggregate bunches now. This is done in a distributed fashion by servers talking to each other.and has been mastered at Google.
Google is not alone. Ever since it's i.inception, Wealthy Affiliate has grown as a business using distributed data. This job is handled on the server management side under Carson's control.
First the building blocks necessary to running the business are identified. The craft of business operation elements has to be ironed out and each transaction understood. This is the grist of analytics same as Google.
Next the business is looked as an aggregate of transactions and cases from the larger scale of a 1.4 million member enterprise. Ultimately the data analytics is reproduced and used in every corner of the business and possibly provided to other businesses.as a service.
I am most appreciative of the side of WA that we don't often see. We can be grateful for the far-reaching effects and long term vision that is played out in Wealthy Affiliate constantly!

Hi Michael, what can a man say? This is good stuff. I recently was reading about Big Data, I think in the WSJ, where the race to acquire dominance in this field is in full spate - the prize being 'ruler of the world'. Your elucidation has helped my tiny brain,

There must always be things going on that we don't see or hear about at the time. All the upgrades that are going on at the moment didn't just happen overnight! They spent a long time in the planning stages to ensure everything would be correct when it was rolled out to us.
