The need to bucket your content
The latest idea in content containment...buckets! Jay brought up this term in his great WAbinar on Feb 16. it is a great term for the segmentation of ideas and classification of a series of steps in a process. This is accepted in greater descriptive use in the industry!
Buckets is a plugin which provides an alternative to WordPress widgets for some few years. Plugin developer Matthew Rest Orff, created it. Buckets now allows you to create pieces of content for reuse and place them at any location on your WordPress site.
When describing his motivation for creating Buckets, Rest Orff indicated that the plugin was always meant to substitute for widgets. The idea aimed at eliminating problems of standard WordPress widgets. Now portions of reusable content can be better created . This processes puts the user experience and client experience in a greater priority.
This turned out to be quite seamless once the plugin was installed. Buckets became much easier for his clients to use, compared to standard WordPress widgets. Here’s an example of how it works:

Hi Mike~Seems the reason for the "buckets" is to collect, store and reuse content. That's what confuses me a little bit about it, because how does one "reuse" content without getting into the danger of duplicate content. I'm also not sure how buckets can replace widgets, as the designer says it can. Much more to learn, for sure.

I interpret "reuse" as adding your own internal or sourced by yourself ideas to enliven the current content!
