The 20,000 ceiling
A few months back the Dow Jones broke the 20,000 mark. For the financial markets this was an iconic moment! It s also an altitude many fliers are aware of!
This event presaged many financial forecasts and a feeling that the US economy is on a new recovery. It will also impact the prosperity of many of the business we interact with.
I also notice that in our "unexplainable" WA ranking algorithm that it's not possible to exceed the 20K mark in the helper and activity functions. Twice I've bumped up against this level. My hypothesis is that this is a set level that is inviolate. I make assumptions based on observable elements to make a hypothesis.
I often look around corners and interpolate when I have incomplete data and will make determinations on direct observations despite some % of unprovability!
It's great to know our limits and every other relevant thing in this great community.

Thanks, Mike. I do the same thing. That is how we continually learn. I think slowly we are starting to peel back the WA algorithm, Thanks for sharing.
