Solar City
We have seen the rush to solar panels being installed on housing in many communities . A major plan involving solar panel generation has been introduced to the island of Kauai and is generated from solar panels during the day.
The electricity is used to charge up many batteries, which function as a temporary power plant for several hours later in the day and after nightfall.
This is the purpose of Powerwall A battery storage complex from Tesla. This concern brings a great power ssource to the Hawaiian island of Kauai. This powers one fifth of the entire island.
This will continue for hours throughout the night when demand is highest. This is a great example of the future of renewable energy on a large scale. It will enable great investment opportunities in the energy sector!

This is being introduced in my country Philippines but not yet in realization. More local government unit prefer the other renewable energy through water.
What I'd like to know: How much energy is needed to produce and once their lifetime is reached how much energy is needed for disposing such a photovoltaic panel? And how to dispose of it once it has reached it's lifetime? As we all know, such panels aren't really environmentally friendly.
I actually am in the solar business here on the mainland of USA, I do free proposals and getting Solar in some areas are difficult, because they don't have as many incentives. Right now the government is giving a 30% tax incentive, but people are looking for other city rebates without those incentives Solar can be pretty expensive. So thank you for the information, always looking for additional information of Solar panels and the batteries
