Moving onward
Checking my calendar today and realized I've moved into the 22nd century in blogging posts here in WA. My posts should read 2100 on everybody's counter.
I read a novel last week about rising sea levels. In a fictitious story by Clive Cussler. The Chinese are conducting underground mining. The result messes with the subterranean plasma flow. SPOILER ALERT -- At the end of the novel after the protagonists win the day the net gain in sea level rise worldwide is just under a foot.

Affected areas in the US are Jersey City. Manhattan and Boston in the Northeast.
The inundated areas in Washington, DC reaches the white house lawn and the Tidal basin. The National mall would get a dousing along its entire length. The flooding projected occurs on a regular basis along the Potomac River, a condition that is little changed from today.
Many airports and other vital hubs such as San Francisco could well be dowsed. This will necessitate moving major transportation hubs and other large facilities further inland to somewhat higher elevations. Such a condition might require substituting Reno International Airport for San Francisco. Sports stadiums , parks and entertainment centers will suffer the same fate.
The results of these circumstances foretell a change in habits that will impact the real estate, travel and construction industry. The financial tsunami that comes with that change will be considerable!
