With all the uproar on flying lately it's a wonder airlines can leep up with passenger problems. I am flying United this weekend and I find that there are no problems. They bend over backward to resolve passenger issues!

They have a special services group to resolve ticketing and passenger problems up front. The signage and placards are newly constructed. It's amazing what a little controversy will do to change business practices.

One thing also that passengers are not aware of is the training the flight crew goes through to detect and pinpoint passenger issues. Those friendly flight attendants are coldly assessing you behind their smiles.

They check for drunkenness, nervous or furtive behavior. On the physical aide they note if you appear to be in good physical condition, You might be volunteered to assist with unruly passenger or problem conditions.

The ultimate goals are efficient business operations. Something we all strive for in our affiliate linkages as well!.,

I like to travel, I do not care how long it takes to go through checking points. All the best:)

It has to be this way, Mike. The times were safety was no subject are unfortunately over. I used to fly a lot in the 80's and 90's. It was fun. But nowadays with all this checks and the ever closer seating, the fun is gone.

Not to mention the FAA flight crew FAR's as well.

No doubt the airlines had a huge wake-up call this year, but they are light years behind in customer service in my opinion.
In the 80s I used to fly frequently from London to Brussels and back in a day.
On the way out we got breakfast and on the way back a full dinner and only 40 minutes from "wheels up to wheels down" - that's customer service. But in those days BA put customers first.
Have a good flight.

Hi Mike, safe flying is a must. Irv.

Any job has its training and challenges. Have a good flight. Debbie

Safe travels, my friend.

There was a lady tonight at the event with a hairstyle and color much like yours. What a pleasant Deja vu!!!:))

Was her name Susan?????

I hope you are having a wonderful visit.

Enjoy!

Susan :)

It was Pat but she was Susan to me. There was a Susan in my class which was originally 46 at graduation but now is 32! :)))

There must be so much catching up on each other's life stories, that you would need a few days just to visit with everyone!

What fun! :) :)

Thank you for the airline update

Thanks for sharing, Mike.
